I'm really disappointed with my experience here. When this location first opened, they were…read moreoffering what was clearly presented as a free service, so I went in with a couple of friends to try it out. I only ever went this one time, as I'm a college student who doesn't even live in the state. At no point was it made clear to me that I was signing up for any kind of membership. I do remember being asked to sign something on a tablet, but it was explained as just being for basic/legal purposes. It was never presented as a contract for a membership. About a month later, I noticed I had been charged and was told it was for a membership. I immediately called because I never agreed to anything like that, especially given that I don't live in the state and had only visited once. It doesn't make sense that I would knowingly sign up for an ongoing membership under those circumstances. The only reason I was able to get my money back was by going through my bank--not through any help from the business itself. After repeatedly calling and trying to get this resolved, communication eventually stopped, which made it seem like everything had been taken care of. However, I've since learned that things are still not fully resolved, and they are now trying to charge me for an almost a year's worth of monthly memberships that I have never used. This is especially frustrating because I don't even live in the state, so there was never any realistic way I would be using an ongoing membership. This still feels like a very unethical business practice. It's incredibly frustrating to be told one thing in person and then have something completely different happen behind the scenes. Overall, this experience has been very disappointing. I would strongly recommend that others be extremely cautious and make sure they fully understand what they're being signed up for before agreeing to anything here.

This is regarding the Flagstaff location which is a chain of the same company: I originally signed…read moreup in Fall of 2022 for the "new" red light therapy because I had recently been diagnosed with cancer. I was told it was simply a month to month membership, and I made sure to cancel it properly. This turned into one of the worst business experiences I've ever had. I was scammed by tanning bed places back in the 80s, and honestly... this has been even worse. Just a month after signing up, I had to start daily radiation treatments. There was absolutely no way I could keep lying in a chamber with bright light since it was physically and emotionally overwhelming, and the PTSD from radiation made it impossible. I cancelled immediately: I called, wrote, went in person, and even asked to speak with the owner directly. I got no help. I fought the charges for months, and my credit card company finally reversed everything in January 2023. My original review from back then has been visible on their own website for THREE YEARS, which clearly shows I've been trying to resolve this since the beginning. Now after 3 YEARS, they're suddenly trying to claim I owe them membership fees again. The only explanation I can come up with is that the previous owner misled the new owner by reporting old, canceled memberships as still active. This whole situation has been incredibly frustrating, stressful, and disappointing.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I received a Himalayan salt stone treatment, and…read moreafterward I was left with multiple painful red marks on my back that appeared consistent with burns. I have photos documenting how my skin looked after the treatment. I contacted the business because I was concerned about what happened and requested a refund. My main goal was simply to get my money back for a treatment that left me with these marks. Instead of resolving the issue with me, my refund request was refused, and I was told they may pursue legal action for defamation. I'm sharing my personal experience and the condition of my skin following the treatment. I would have preferred for the situation to have been handled professionally with a refund and acknowledgment of my concerns. Based on my experience, I would not return. I may only be 19, but I understand that as a business owner, there's value in turning a bad experience into a positive one. Rather than setting her pride aside, showing some empathy, and making the situation right, which could have resulted in a happy customer and a glowing 5-star review, she chose to refuse a simple $80 refund request. Instead, that decision resulted in this review and me sharing my experience with friends and family. Sometimes, protecting $80 ends up costing a business far more in the long run. I also have a professional background in Emergency medical services and experience recognizing and assessing injuries, including burns. Based on my training and experience , the amount of pain, persistent redness, and changes in the appearance of my skin after the treatment were concerning to me for a thermal burn rather than the temporary redness I would expect from a normal treatment. I understand that the exact depth or degree of a burn requires appropriate medical evaluation, so I am not claiming a specific diagnosis here. However, what I experienced and photographed was concerning enough that I did not feel the treatment was performed safely, and I believe requesting a refund was entirely reasonable.

During his massage, hot Himalayan salt stones were used, and he ended up with multiple burns on his back (photos attached). This is not what anyone expects after paying for a relaxing massage. We went back to speak with the owner, hoping they would show some concern and work with us on a resolution. We only requested to be refunded for the massage considering it did more harm than good, to say the least. Instead, I was met with attitude and felt like our concerns were being dismissed. Rather than apologizing and taking responsibility for what happened, the owner refused to offer any refund because we had received complimentary items during the open house promotion. While we appreciated the free items, they don't make up for someone leaving with burns from a massage. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds afterward says a lot. A sincere apology, empathy, and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, because of both the injury and the way the situation was handled, we won't be returning.
