They offer free pool water tests and even provide reusable/resealable plastic sample bottles. Unlike "back in the day" Radio Shack visits where you felt assaulted upon entry, Tim's top notch counter service was the perfect balance of competent help and friendly banter (but not overly chatty). After building an electronically stored profile for my friend's pool, he quickly performed tests on the water sample and concluded it was low on chlorine. Instead of overselling stuff we didn't need, Tim simply said "All you need is 1-2 40lb bags of salt; they're $9 each." Sure enough, 2-3 days after dumping 2 bags in and running the pump, the water was clear again. My friend couldn't believe their honesty and fair prices. When he mentioned a competitors tactics upon checkout, Tim used diplomacy not criticizing another vendor but simply stating Leslie's are franchises and must abide by consistent pricing and rules of enhancement. We purchased a house that had an existing pool that needed work. W did our homework and knew what we wanted to have done to the pool. We interviewed 4 companies and this company was in the middle price wise. We wanted the plaster redone in black and a new salt system installed, nothing too complicated, but that's exactly what it has ended up being. The plaster seemed to be done easy enough, until Paul decided to fill the pool with our garden hose, it took 3 days to fill a 12,000 gallon pool, and by the time it was filled, the plaster didn't cure right and he had to refrain the pool, acid wash the plaster and refill. The refill was supposed to have been done by bringing water in, but only half was done this way, the remainder was with our garden hose again. today, a year later, the black plaster is chipping off and has faded to a light gray in many places. We wanted a Hayward Salt System as we had with our previous house. Paul talked us into another system that he said was comparable, this proved to a lie. I just read online how yes, the PureChlor system is cheaper, but also less efficient and not comparable at all to Hayward. I am constantly fighting with algae in my pool, the cells constantly are caked with salt crystals and the pool is green every other week. The pipes that apparently had some leaks from the auto fill and skimmer baskets were supposed to have been fixed, but the auto fill constantly runs because of the leaks in the skimmer line that never got correctly repaired. I can never get the salt levels right now because I am fighting a salt converter that doesn't work correctly and the auto fill that runs much of the time. The website says the work is guaranteed, but after calling and never getting calls back, we gave up. My Partner got a new phone and number, so we tried calling Paul with the new number, SURPRISE he called us back because the number wasn't recognized, but when Paul realized who was calling, he never returned another call. Apparently we are not the only dissatisfied customers, he has a reputation in town with some pool store of doing exactly what is listed above, taking the money and never returning calls to his customers. Update October 2016- My partner spoke with Paul and was told due to my scathing review above that even though he'd said 2 months prior that he had the light to repair ours, he no longer would. Did he call us with this information, of course not! Paul then said that he would go ahead and drop off the light so we could then make the repair ourselves, that was 2 months ago, and we're still waiting. This man never planned on fixing our pool light, all it was was a bunch of bull to string us along. I would have amended the first review if he'd followed through, but he didn't, so I have no issue in telling the masses to stay away from Paul and his company. if you see the company Aruba Pools come up in an online search for your pool repairs, RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!! I am now on the search for another salt conversion system. I will more than likely go back to what we know and trust, Hayward, and put the PureChlor that we have where it belongs, in the trash with all the empty salt bags that I have had to use over the course of the last year. I do hope Paul sees this review and can't remove it from Yelp. He needs to know just how dissatisfied his customers are, since he doesn't pick up the phone when they call.

They were extremely patient with the many questions we had about our spa since we had never had one before. They explained all of the operations and knobs on our spa and told us everything we needed to know to keep it in tip top shape. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reasonable and knowledgeable people to work on their equipment. They even told us we could call them anytime we had any more questions.
