Appointment was set up for an estimate, no call, no show. That's a bad start. Will NOT be using this company.

The job took a long time to complete. The first rain I had water pouring in through a bathroom vent. Luckily it did not rain for long. The roof vent was installed backwards and was funneling water. I had them come out and fix the issue. The next rain I had water dripping on my furnace, they did not replace the flashing around the chimney and had just slapped a gob of roofing cement. I called them and got no response. I had another roofing company come out and do the repair at my expense. Now in 2023 I am having siding done. The workers found that Guardian did not put down a proper starter row and flashing in a valley. This caused major damage to soffit, fascia and roof deck. Rotten wood in a number of spots. Now I have expense of major repairs and another new roof. I would NOT recommend Guardian. I have learned that they have a new name, Quality Roofing. Same location, but not sure if same owners. Guardian roofing was Jeff Brown. Now Quality Roofing has a CFO named Emily Brown.

I was impressed by their professionalism and decided we'd probably use them for a full roof replacement, which we expect to need in the next few years. A couple of days ago we lost some more shingles in a windstorm. I called them and they told me they'd be out the next day. I stayed home, but their promised arrival time came and went and they never arrived or called to say they they couldn't make it. I initially posted a lower-rated review based on their no-show above, but they followed up with me on Sunday and explained they had been totally swamped by the wind storm damage in the area. They offered to come out that day, and I accepted their offer. They arrived promptly and replaced the missing shingles, as well as nailing down some others that had begun flapping during the storm.

***********BUYERS BEWARE*************…read more ******* THEY ARE NOT INSURED AND IF THEY GIVE YOU PAPERWORK SAYING THEY ARE, CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY******* *********This company changed their name from Perfection Home Repairs To Perfection Metals!********** DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THE OWNER AND THE OWNERS SON BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE! Just watch the video and look at the pictures. You can't make this stuff up. Look up all the companies these guys have had and the all the lawsuits that are behind their names. It goes all the way down to North Carolina! After paying $94k for a new roof that we were told was the best on the market not only because of some no/hidden fastener design, craftsmanship, some so called lifetime warranty (a warranty Todd offered at a number of anther failed business that are not worth the paper printed on) and how they take care of their customers even if an act of god causes issues. But now that we have leaks, water coming from behind the gutters, gutter screens put in halfway, no overhang on the drip edge, uneven metal at all ends, ridge caps leaking, metal flapping in the wind, metal on the house not screwed back in, gutters that look bent and twisted, vent pipes far to close to ribs on the metal, ice dams far to close to the edge, dented ice dams, screws and metal shards everywhere, and so much more. Was told by Todd that they strive for street level perfection, functionality over appearance, I am part of the 1% that gets on the roof to look when they are done, my standards are to high, I made mistake in going with them, that their sales guy Brad is over selling their companies quality of work, and so many other excuses as to why they did a half ass job. If anyone is looking at them for work I would seriously look up Todd Macy on the IN government business page and then mosey on over to google and look up all the other companies. There you will find all the reviews need to make your decision. They DO NOT make or roll their own steel. The only parts they do are the drip edge, ridge cap's, valleys, and gutters. They purchase their metal from Zimmer Metal Sales in goshen. Don't fall for their BS and hire someone else! **TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD WORK DONE** There should be a no star review for this company! I hope the people writing good reviews actually get on their roofs! ********PLEASE GET ON OR HAVE SOMEONE GET ON YOUR ROOF AND LOOK AT THE WORK DONE!******* Weird how this review is not visible to the public. Please get on your roofs and look at their work before you sign anything. I am begging you. Looks like they are trying to block my review.
