We always swept, we Swiftered, we cleaned counters, but we never got to all the nitty, gritty corners of rooms and bathrooms, dust on moldings, moving furniture every week to get under it, etc. and that builds up fast. We now have Christina/Wall2Wall coming by once a month and it's unreal how clean she leaves the place. Every room is organized, cleaned, mopped, and sparkling. I can't talk about price because as the cheap one, my GF refuses to tell me what it costs but she also tells me it's cheaper than most competitors.
