My balayage was really brassy and I had a few grey stragglers on top of my head I needed to have covered up. When I walked in, the pictures online don't even do the salon justice. It is so beautiful inside, I loved the ambiance, the staff was very friendly and the free coffee didn't hurt either. Jessica was very warm and friendly, offered some suggestions on the look I was trying to accomplish and the end result was simply amazing. I've had pretty bad color experiences before, but I will definitely be sticking with Jessica as long as I can! She even massaged my head/scalp and gave me under eye gel pads to help soothe my puffy under eye area...it felt like a mini spa get away.

Amy did such a great job she was quick, efficient and prices were great. I've gotten so many compliments that my hair looks good and asking if I cut it. I said yes but only an inch and people notice the difference. I also notice the difference whatever technique she used was defiantly top of the line. My ends look thicker and the cut looks so much better (again from only an inch or so). I will be going back to Amy every time I'm back in Michigan. Keep up the good work!

I live over 25 mins away, and while it would be so much easier to find a salon closer to where I live, I simply can't bring myself to do so. The reason is simple: excellent service for a fair price. To read a review like the one posted by Lo G is simply unbelievable, to say the least. I say this because in all the years I've been coming to the Hair Saloon, I have never seen any of the stylists, let alone the owner, ever treat a customer poorly. I have seen women come in who have had their hair screwed up from other salons, only to walk out extremely thankful that someone from Hair Saloon was able to fix them up. I've seen everything from bad hair cuts to horrible color jobs to perms gone wrong, all fixed. My ex-girlfiend used to go to the much more expensive salons in Birmingham and Royal Oak where she would pay over $150 for a style and coloring, but now only pays half that (not including tip) while looking better than those overpriced salons. With today's economic state and money being as tight as it is, it is hard to find businesses that provide quality services, let alone, at good prices. The Hair Saloon does just that.
