The items were returned today, but not as handed over. Some items were washed, some were not, and the best part was the unrequested dye job, NOT. Many of the items have fond memories attached, and now they are ruined, no warning phone call to say, "Hey we screwed up". Very irritating. If I could give minus stars I would. Won't recommend or use this service ever again. I get sh*t happens, but you have to own the sh*t when it happens, and you failed miserably.

I had two dresses that needed work - one that needed a zipper replacement (except I wanted to replace the zipper with a heavier one and make it visible as opposed to invisible) and one that was way too large in the bust. I say all this because I think there's some complexity to what needed done, as opposed to a simpler "this needs hemming". The first dress was done with no issue, looks great, once I communicated what I wanted they had the exact right hardware and it's sewn wonderfully. The second dress - I have no idea what magical elixir the tailor was drinking but it fits perfectly. The straps are the right length and the bust now fits me instead of someone 2-3 cup sizes larger. I am SO pleased with these results (priced very well also) and will continue to bring clothes here. Note: this is a different business from North York Premium Dry Cleaning, which also does alterations. They're close to each other with similar names but are different businesses.

I decided to give it a shot and BOY was I wrong! Ended up making a few trips back to the store as the keys did not work even after he tried to fix it after my first return. In the end I gave up and wanted to get my money back instead of wasting my time with him. Contrary to what he had promised in the beginning, he was not willing to provide a full refund, making excuses about his business costs such as the price he paid for the blank keys and whatnot, however these costs would've already been factored into his higher price (margin) as he is charging $7/key whereas with other places it's usually $4-$5/key, I didn't argue with him about his higher price in the beginning as convenience is more important to me but in the end I was extremely disappointed with his awful business practice. To this store owner ---- I used to work in the merchant services field and I know exactly how much each POS transaction costs to a business owner, so please do not think people are dumb and will listen to whatever you tell them. Get out of your store more and you will know that people are smarter than you think! You may feel proud about your business, but time has changed and if you don't get your act together you'll be surprised how words get spread around on social media. Your store already has terrible reviews to begin with and after what I've gone through myself I'm 100% not surprised!!

He said no problem, come back at the end of the day. $10 I picked up my garment for 5 stitches. The hole wasn't even closed, nor did he try to hide the stitches. Each stitch was 2 to 3 cm job. I feel like even myself can do a better job, and I'm not a professional. The tear originally can fit my 4 fingers wide. It was returned still 4 fingers wide, but spaced out. I asked for him to do a better job. It felt like he just poke more holes and pulled some material out. Told me my material is bad. Don't bother to fix it. If only he said this before he inspected it, and took a job he couldn't be bother to do. Bad service, bad job I wouldn't come back.
