I'm not the type of person to write a bad review or complain about anything but my experience with…read morethis place was so awful that I want to help people not make the same mistake as I did of spending hundreds of hard earned dollars on a service to not be done correctly and unprofessionally. So I went to Aesthetica Swansea to get filler in the under eye area in the beginning of July. The first red flag was when I was charged for the service twice. Instead of apologizing and immediately issuing a refund. She asked why I didn't tell her that I had a gift card (it was on file) and told me that she didn't know if she could refund me. After that she told me that I might need to go through my bank or maybe her manger could issue one. She asked me if I wanted to just keep it for other appointments to which I mistakenly agreed on. (Lucky since then I was able to get the accidental charge returned) In regards to the service, I was very unhappy with my filler from the second I got it. I noticed it was very uneven and pointed it out to her during and after the appointment. I left unsatisfied and went home to show my family who all noticed that it was uneven as well. I decided to call and make an appointment to be seen again, they said I could come in that day and that it wouldn't be a problem. Fifteen minutes before my appointment the injector texts me and informs me that we can't add more filler due to safety concerns. (Keep in mind I live 40 minutes away and was ten minutes away at this point) so the ride was for nothing because that could have just been said over the phone when I called for the appointment in the first place. In the next days I was noticing that the filler was sore under my eyes, especially my left eye and when touching it I could feel a large lump of filler. I had a family member feel it to see if I was mistaken and they were repulsed by it. I texted the injector and also brought to her attention that I had some lumps in the corner of my left eye. She assured me that it would smooth out so I gave it more time. It did not go away so I went to google and followed an article that gave tips on how to fix botched filler by rubbing the lumps with a jade roller so they disperse and it worked, after about a month the pain did get significantly better but the filler still looked awful. I texted her again and said "Hi, I am noticing even after the treatment my under eye bags are still very noticeable. the filler is still bumpy in certain areas and both eyes look puffy toward the inner corner. One of my eyes is also a lot less filled. Can this be fixed?" She told me to call the office so I made an appointment to see her and the doctor at the office as well. Since the doctor is also a dentist he had a limited schedule so I had to take work off to be at the appointment. A little less then week before my appointment I get a text that my appointment has been changed and this message left on my voicemail "your appointment for Thursday, August 18 um has to be moved from 1 o'clock to 415 thank you and have a great day...". Completely unprofessional to not ask, but tell me when my appointment is and not give me the option of choosing a time. I decided to still go anyway. Then as I'm in the parking lot waiting I get a text saying "this is AestheticA messaging you regarding your appointment today. Unfortunately, we have to cancel your appointment. So sorry for the inconvenience." My stomach drops because I just drove 40 minutes and took the day off of work to be there. I give them a call and the woman puts me on hold. She tells me that someone else was just going to call me and that there going to give me a call me right away. I waited for ten minutes with nothing before I decided to call them. They said my injector can not see me and that another person will. They told me to come in and again changed my appointment to a later time. I showed them my concerns. The doctor even said "I know what she means" twice so clearly he knew that the filler was poorly done but didn't want to fix it. But besides that none of my concerns were actually addressed. When I showed them the lumps that I got immediately after the filler I was told "it looks like eczema" (never had eczema in my life and I'm 22), when I explained that I paid 500 dollars for this service so I want it to be done properly he chuckled and said "I know it's so cheap", the doctor also walked out on me without saying a word. Overall I was extremely invalidated and none of my concerns were addressed. At the end of the day, to pay 500$ for a service to not be done properly or corrected is unprofessional and inexcusable. Do not trust these people with fillers. Go to some place reputable and don't waist your money and time like I did.

I recently had gotten micro shading done on my eyebrows. When I got there the girl who was about to…read moredo them asked me what I knew about the process... I then explained to her I wanted a very natural look she assured me that we could get the results that I was looking for and just to trust the process. When she did the outline for my brows I told her again I want them to be more of a natural look-I don't want them to be big and bold I made that very clear she understood and said absolutely I understand what you want. When I was done with the procedure she handed me the mirror and I was absolutely mortified! They are bold uneven and nothing of a natural look that I wanted. I called as soon as I got home and asked to speak to a manager. I was told a manager to get back to me on Monday-this was on Friday afternoon and the manager had left. I begin to panic because they looked so bad and uneven and even though that they will lighten and get better over time it doesn't change the shape that was given. I then began to reach out to different professionals in the greater Boston area and Providence area everyone I reached out to and sent pictures to said that it was a complete hack job and they're completely uneven and the person doing it clearly did not have a lot of experience I was told by several professionals do you have emergency ceiling removal done as soon as possible as it can only be done within 48 hours of having the procedure. Unfortunately on the weekend it was extremely hard for me to get this done I found a salon professional in New Hampshire which is 2 1/2 hours away from me but I was so desperate for help that I drove and had a procedure done that cost me an additional $300. The professional that I spoke to was very helpful and apologized for the bad experience that I had had she told me that because it was done so thick and so uneven there would definitely be needing a second session in eight weeks... Monday came around.... And no one called me so I called again...they told me that I would receive a call on Tuesday and that the manager is not in on Monday. On Tuesday I call because still I have not received a phone call. I finally got a callback from an office manager later that day who works at the 508 dentist since they are the same company. Her name was Carolina. She assured me that she would speak to the owner and explain to him what happened. I don't hear from her all week and then I got an email from her stating that she's tried reaching you several times but hasn't been able to I had nothing missed on my phone may have been a glitch but I always have my phone on me I had nothing from her either way I called back and she told me there's absolutely nothing that they can do because they look great and she doesn't see a problem. Several independent professionals saw the problem that I could clearly see on my face but yet they did not see that anything was done wrong. She said that I would not receive any money back nor will they help me with anything else that I've had done in the process to fix the hack job that I received. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement I thought this was a great company what I had been there before but clearly I was wrong they do not care about their customers they do not care how their customers feel and she will not let me speak to the owner. I asked her to please reach out to the owner and she said everything goes through me you're not allowed to speak to the owner I spoke to him already and he said there's nothing we can do to help you. I told her she needs to go to the owner and explain again that I would like my money back because what I paid for is not what I received. Stay far away they don't care about doing what is right for the customer. I will let all my friends in the beauty industry know of my experience, as well as the people that have helped me have the emergency solution which is a whole network of beauty spa and salon owners that now know the story of how this company runs. very sad that the company can't make things right. Please see photo for reference- clearly crooked one is round other is straight... absolutely mortifying they think this is good work!? Insane!

I've struggled for a while about whether or not to write this review. Because they're very kind and…read moresweet, and that may have been the only Positive part of my experience. I visited on March 5, and saw Karen. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted (see below). She argued with me, claiming that my hair "pulls red" (it doesn't-I have well water that has a heavy concentration of iron. I have since installed a filter to avoid this issue moving forward). I asked for platinum, icy blonde. After about 5-10 minutes of "explaining" why it wasn't a good idea (despite the fact that I've had it done 100 times before), she finally relented and said ok. $200+ later, my actual result is posted below. Finally-the cut and style. It was ok. Technically, it was exactly what I asked for, but she took off much more than I had asked her to, and my layers are chunky and choppy, making my hair appear much thinner at the ends than it actually is. If the color had just been a mistake, I would totally understand. But, she argued with me, told me I didn't know what I was doing, and proceeded to do what she thought was best. For the amount of money that I paid, that is totally unacceptable. See the pics. My hair came out DARKER than when I walked in. I'm very, very disappointed.
