I am disappointed with my recent experience at this salon. I arrived on time for a scheduled…read moreappointment, but was kept waiting for over 40 minutes without clear communication or acknowledgment of the delay. Understanding that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I respectfully inquired whether any accommodation could be made in light of the extended wait time. Unfortunately, my concern was met with a confrontational and dismissive response from the manager, rather than a professional effort to address the situation. Punctuality and customer service are essential in a service-based business. While occasional delays may be unavoidable, how those situations are handled makes a significant difference. Regrettably, I did not feel my time or business was valued during this visit. I hope the salon takes this feedback into consideration to improve future client experiences. Needless to say, I will not be back as they have lost a customer.

If I lived in Muskegon you couldn't pry me from this place. I went for the "Half Day of Beauty"…read morethey have on their spa package menu. Upgraded to a full hour for both the massage and the facial, added Shellac to the mani and pedi, and also had an eyebrow wax. The massage and facial were perfect, with special touches like Aveda oils and hot towels taking the services to the next level. Pedicure and manicure were pretty standard, and well worth the price. Wash and blow dry was standard. Eyebrow wax done with hard wax, which was slightly more painful than when done with muslin but didn't leave my eyebrows red after. Service provided the entire time was excellent, and the services were provided at an excellent value for what was received. They were able to squeeze me in for all these services with no notice on a Saturday. Only complaints, someone accidentally switched the music to Christian radio (whatever if this is your cup of tea, however not the most relaxing massage music), and the massage room was a little bit chilly. Neither of those things were errors by the spa or technicians and I only mentioned them for the sake of honesty. If I'm in Muskegon, I will be back!!

VERY UNSANITARY!!!! Left this shop on multiple occasions with infected cuts and razor bumps, and…read morenever once witnessed a stylist clean their supplies. Additionally, I have witnessed stylists publicly humiliate customers in front of a shop full of clients, because the customer was unhappy with their haircut. Overall not worth it for such an under-qualified, unprofessional, and unfriendly staff. I called to speak with the owner of the shop (Bryan Kloote) after receiving a very unfriendly voicemail from Him which I have saved as part of ongoing legal action, only to be belittled, insulted, spoken to with extreme condescension, and then hung up on when voicing my experience. The owner also clearly has zero idea as to what is happening in his shop, and VERY quick to side against the customer if "his stylists" are being criticized in any way. If this is how this shop treats customers, I would surely never let my son or daughter enter such a negative atmosphere. The shop also constantly Smells of cigarettes and marijuana, which could be the customers, but the consistency raises suspicions. One stylist in particular (Megan) turned away a weekly client because he did not like a haircut from months prior, and proceeded to use malicious insults (in front of children) and sanctimonious tone to force this client to reluctantly Leave the shop clearly embarrassed as a crowd of customers watched. I personally have gotten haircuts from almost every stylist currently working in that shop, and each one was very clearly lacking fundamental knowledge of cosmetology. Frankly I am Surprised that this place has not yet been shut down. such blatant health code violations and intentional disregard for customer safety, satisfaction, and comfortability are simply shocking. After such a negative experience and seeking justification from the owner only to experience a conversation with an immature, incapable, jaded, and unintelligent business owner, I highly recommend avoiding at all costs.
