Kris made a very competitive bid that made it clear we knew how much we were going to get for our money. We were getting $2,500 to $3,000 a day, for "one to three acres a day", just did not work for us. He was very patient with us, adjusting his bid as we figured out exactly what we wanted to do. And it was great to go "local" with him. He cleared four acres of dense underbrush, four to ten feet or more tall and up to five-inch thick, working with and around a couple of seasonal creek beds. He also constructed a 50-foot, gravel driveway, which included installing a 20-foot long culvert. We couldn't be there to watch every step of the way and he used excellent judgement making decisions where they had to be made. Excellent work. All in less than three days! I had a badly eroded and washed out road at my Ranch, so bad we stuck the Pickup in it to the axles…read moreand had to pull it out. I called Craig's Dirt as they came highly recommended, and I'm now happy to recommend them myself. Although backed up with work, they came out promptly and discussed my needs, supplying a quote in short order. We scheduled the work as soon as the schedule cleared up a bit and while we were waiting I had an enormous tree come down in a storm, falling or course, right over the road to be paved. I called Blake and he assessed the issue and added a small amount to the quote to cover removing the tree as part of the service. Very nice and convenient as I don't have a Tree guy out there yet. They completed the job in very good time, and were spot on with the quote. I love this road (sounds strange I know). It looks wonderful, will obviously last a long time, had a culvert ran under it to avoid washing out in the future (didn't even push Blake over quote) and was my favorite Christmas present to my family!
