Love Pepper palace. Favorite hot sauce store but. I was looking for chili the kid or don habaneros. Light not super spicy sauce. They didn't have it and they tried to explain they only carry their sauces. After explaining it is there sauce she recommended 7 strain and I just tried it. Meanest woman in pcb read more

Pepper Palace - Fear spear pickles, ghost garlic hot sauce, Buffalo sauce, chocolate habanero pepper sauce and pepper palace heat sauce. - Specialty Food Near Me - Panama City Beach, Florida

Great store! I have never seen so many varieties of sauces. Joni and Mike were wonderful!

Fuck yes. This is a store that speaks to me. I love all things spice and scoville, so when my cousin-in-law said there was a "hot sauce store" in Pier Park, I was like "WE MUST GO THERE!". Pepper Palace did not disappoint! I walked in the front door, and was immediately amazed. SO. MUCH. HOT. SAUCE. *drool* I did a loop around the store, and then started asking the guy working the counter a ton of questions. He had plenty of knowledge about the products on offer, and very much encouraged me to try to as many as I wanted to... they offer complimentary chips in which to try almost every sauce they have available. I tried around 20 or so different sauces, and started putting bottles near the register for later. Early on, I had asked about the scoville rating for a number of the sauces, and though he couldn't quote exact numbers, he gave ballparks. I would say his judgement was pretty accurate, as all the ones I tried were pretty close to how hot he said they'd be. Then he pointed out a small, unsuspecting looking black bottle with the words "The End" on it. Somehow, being so overwhelmed by the amount of hot sauce, I had walked right past the flashing red police light stationed near this little bottle. He told me that this was by far the hottest sauce in the store, and that IF I wanted to try it, I'd have to sign a waiver. Wow. Waiver? NOW you have my attention. After sampling everything first and making some decisions, I decided to sign the waiver and try The End. I had watched a young girl come in and try it before me, and she seemed to handle it well enough (though I saw how much he put on her chip... a tiny drop). It looked like it lit her up pretty good though. The guy behind the counter said "you seem to know your way around hot stuff, so I'll let you put as much as you want", and he handed me a little squeeze bottle of The End. On the side, it had a rating system that read something like "1 drop - amateur, 2 drops - tough guy, etc... 5 drops - are you insane?". Of course, I put 5 drops on my chip. The sauce was a pool about the size of a nickel. And I ate it. Guy wasn't kidding. It's hot. Really hot. I got the usual head sweats, and my mouth was on fire. I've eaten sauces in the 2.5 million range, so I knew what I was getting into. Then it hit my stomach. Dear God... I have never felt a flaming pit in my stomach from hot sauce like that before. I was leaning against the counter with 2 hands, just breathing, and my cousin kept asking me "are you ok?"... I just had to wait it out. I felt like I had been punched in the stomach, and could yak at any time. But I didn't! Eventually, after about 15 minutes, my stomach calmed down and we were able to purchase our hot sauces and head out. Later that evening, we were in the neighborhood so I popped back in before closing to buy a bottle of The End. The cashier said "wow, you're back! I didn't think you'd want some after earlier!". :) I definitely loved what Pepper Palace is all about. The gentleman helping me through this whole visit was awesome, and I was glad to find out about this place. Even better, you can order any of their sauces online! Yahtzee! If you like hot sauce, and all things spicy, GO HERE! You won't regret it... well, maybe a little. ;) read more

This place is great! From a variety of custom spices, barbecue sauce, salsas and hot sauce, to the best customer service. A person can taste anything, which is a major plus in my book . Highly recommend a visit and a purchase if you are ever in this area! read more

This place is an interesting concept with walls upon walls of all the hot sauces you could possibly imagine. I had a great time just looking at all the variety and reading all the funky names and labels, but if possible, this place had almost too much to offer. There's a sampling station near the central counter where you can taste a few of their own sauces and salsas. As a big fan of sauces and salsas, I wanted to desperately purchase something, but with some salsas costing $9, I decided to skip. Otherwise, I like the concept! read more

This is probably my favorite place in Pier Park. It's a small sauce shop that lets you try pretty much every hot sauce in the store. It's amazing. You know exactly what you're walking out of the store with. read more

This is one of the stores along Pier Park that my friend wanted to stop by again to restock on his favorite - "the world's hottest hot sauce" made with ghost chili peppers. It's definitely KILLER! It has a very nice flavor to it and it doesn't hit you at first, but when it does, the heat lingers for quite some time. This place was pretty cool. They have free samples of a lot of things in the store, so it makes purchasing decisions a lot easier. There was a sweet lady there to help, as well as a little girl who was ringing everyone up (with the lady's aid, of course). read more

This was one place we really wanted to visit while on vacation as a majority of our group was hot sauce crazed. The guy working was really knowledgeable of the hot sauces and was able to recommend sauces he thought we would like based on the flavors we preferred. Their current promotion is buy 5, get 1 free. We definitely took advantage of that. They have all kinds of hard to find hot sauces, bbq sauces, wing sauces, etc. A definite must stop! read more

This was such a fun stop! Personally I don't love hot or spicy things but I still was so exited and interested in the hot sauces sold at this place. They were so friendly and knowledgeable on all the inventory in the shop. It was a very good experience and I recommend a stop by even if you're not interested in hot stuff! read more
