Doctors scare me, mainly because I know for a fact that just like every other profession, there are both good and bad ones. This man, I trust. I drive all the way out to Ballwin from downtown because he's just plain worth the drive. I've never had a better physician. This man is not only as sharp as they come, but he really cares. He sits down, discusses everything with me, without the slightest hint of condescension, apathy, or impatience. He's always proactive, and has never let me down. If you're looking for a physician, I suggest getting on a waiting list for this man immediately.

The amount you will pay is ridiculous, they will charge you for a phone call, for a doctors note to your work or school, be inflexible with appointment changes...and they have your card on file so they will charge at will. Not to mention he doesn't listen to his patients very well or believe them. You'll notice him diagnosing the same things, over and over with no proof. Adrenal fatigue. Thyroid issues. Blah blah. Specifically, i used to see him but he only wanted to sell me supplements from his personal web store. He told me not to buy them anywhere else because his were "better". I found another doc. Fast forward several years, my wife kept going to see him. He ordered a "natural" med for a condition that her bloodwork said she didn't need. He insisted that she needed this med. They ordered it for her that day, without asking, and It was pricey. When she started taking the med she had a serious side effect that he denied was from the med. Every phone call he returned about the side effect, simple questions like "should I stop taking the med? Is this normal?" he charged $190. Each. For a quick phone call. We're about $1000 in and my wife's health got worse and needs other medical follow up, which we're looking for elsewhere. He reached out after she complained about the charges and threatened to leave, he said the charges were a mistake but I'm not confident that's true. I'm a holistic kind of guy, this doctor is not what he appears.

They told me that they reached out to a company that excepted Medicare and that they placed the order and I should hear back from them shortly. Waited a few days , called the office back and told them that I hadn't heard back from anyone. The gave me the number and told me I could try contacting them myself. I called the C-Pap parts place and was told that the doctors office didn't give them the information they needed to fill the order. So I called the doctors office back and was told that they had sent ALL the paper work back to the parts place. Called the parts place back and was told they needed a signed order as to why this was medically necessary. Called doctors office back and was told I needed to contact my ENT doctor back or the place where I had the sleep study done. Told the lady that I didn't have a ENT doctor and that I had given them the name of the place where I had the sleep test done to begin with. They contacted them and found out that the sleep study place did not deal with Medicare. That's when the doctors officetold me the had contacted this outside company who sold parts ans delt with Medicare. Now Dr Gage'soffice is telling me that Dr Gage refused to sign off on me being able to get the parts I need for my C Pap machine. I have never delt with a more incompetent Doctor or doctors office staff. Stay clear of this man.

Their referral department policy is to wait until the day before the appointment to send it and normally it doesn't get there in time, Waste of your time and the specialist you waited a month to see. Getting the referral sent requires a lot of time calling and holding on phone for 20 minutes at a time- babysitting staff to do their job, for two days prior to your appointment. Disgusting how this process is handled at this office. Dr Gage is ok as a doctor but your only as good as your team .....

Everyone though made me feel safe, more relaxed about the zurgery and educated on the procedure, especially the Anesthesiologist and her asst Adrienne, the lady who also owns a pet bird and the lady with the super cute glasses and tattoos, you all made me go from a nervous wreck to much more calm prior to the surgery. Dr. Strelzow is very friendly, personable, intelligent, thorough and had compassion. It was a very good experience that could have been the opposite. Thank you Dr. Strelzow and staff! I answered that I have adopted her. then they asked for adoption paperwork?!? I had my daughter for 7 years now we never had to show adoption papers in a urgent care or any other clinic. she has an insurance and had my ID. they refused to give us service but couldn't even provide anything in writing that it is required. my other adopted daughter has been admit several times in a hospital and even then I didn't had to provide those papers. They refused to check a baby said they do not have any more appointments but the nurse was on the phone like for 20 min doing nothing. worst place don't go!
