We have found him to be very caring, a good listener, he knows the right questions to ask pertaining to our visit, and gives us a very high quality of care because he is so knowledgeable. We also appreciate all of his staff who are also very dedicated to excellent patient care. We appreciate that our wait times are good, getting in to see him within a few minutes of our arrival. Another thing we really like about Dr. Grus, that being established patients, we can usually get a same-day or next day appointment, instead of having to go to an urgent care. I believe he does this as a service for his patients, and I think all doctors should do this. We have a good experience from start to finish because there is plenty of parking, check in is speedy, a lab is available on site, and checkout is in his office. The facility is also very clean and welcoming. We highly recommend Dr. Grus if you are looking for a new doctor and a great all around patient experience. We give him 5 Stars!

She knows what she is talking about, and she'll openly admit it, if she doesn't. She is very easy to talk to, even about sensitive subjects. Even the nurses and office staff are great! They're all kind, friendly, and helpful! Just a side note: Dr. Stephens often has med. students working with her, but they always leave it up to the patient to decide whether or not the student becomes involved in the visit.

I was sold after my first appointment. If you live in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area, this is your guy. If you live downtown, this is still your guy. I swear he's worth the drive. I've never had a doctor pay more attention to what I'm telling him and genuinely care about what it is that I'm saying... and that's priceless. He's also a pretty funny guy who tries to be "hip" to what's going on in the world and strikes up the funniest conversations! Dr. McIntosh is thorough and knowledgeable, and he'll get you back up and running in no time. I've seen him for typical stuff such as allergies and colds, and he makes great recommendations and always gives me tips that help me feel ten times better. I even had to call the after-hours line once with a bad sinus infection (sure he appreciated that one) and he was still as caring and attentive even though I was bugging him late at night. What puts him above all others is how he follows up and doesn't give up until you've fixed whatever the problem is. For myself, the allergy queen, he prescribed a medicine and a nose spray and had me check in with him 7 days later via the phone, and we spoke that often until he had me on a plan that was working wonders. Looks like I'll be driving that 45 minutes next time I need him!

We don't have all the answers for my health problems but I can't say he doesn't LISTEN to every single one of them. He orders tests and refers me to specialists when needed. I've never felt misunderstood or dismissed which is not something I can say for many many specialists I've seen. To be fair, Auto Immune diseases are notoriously difficult to diagnose but I can confidently say Dr. McIntosh is doing everything he can to help me get answers.
