I went through two refrigerators from here - one of them did not work upon installation and it took them a few days to come and honor the warranty to replace it. The second fridge worked, then didn't, and they sent a handy man out to fuss with it and now it barely works again. It seems to fluctuate between barely working and freezing all of my food. That said, it is a purchase from a repair place and they did respect the warranty. The service is good, but the quality shows you get what you pay for. read more

Just found out, that Pepe's is either closed down due to vandalism or my scathing reports, had shut them down, permanently. Their service and guarantees, were full of bullshit. If they are shut down for good. Those bastards cost, my brother in law and myself, the cost of our medicines and the food, for the home we lived in. I hope to God, they are shut down for good. read more

Bought a dryer from Pepe's and less than a week after buying it you would have to dry a smallish load 3 times to get it dry (let's not even talk about a big load). Dryer supposedly had a 90 day warranty so I called for them to come out and fix it. When I finally got someone to answer they said they would be out the next day. Nobody ever called or showed up the next day. We went ahead and waited a week to see if anyone called or showed up - they did not. My husband called back at that point and they directed him to take the hose off of the back and see if it worked then - it did not so he called back again and like before they were supposed to be out the next day. That was a couple weeks ago and we never heard from them or saw anyone. We are coming up on being past the 90 days so it looks like they ripped us off . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE - THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY AND THEY ARE ONE OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE USED APPLIANCE STORES IN TOWN. read more

By far the best used Appliances store in town, bought my refrigerator, well after having issues with another shop, and then found Pepe's, it was about 3 years ago after I purchased my first home, since then my fridge has been working great!! I love it! I even have the water connected so I have water and ice. Just went back for a stove and they are amazing gracious people (Pepe & Ruby) they're just so awesome!! I did mention to them that I was a costumer who's bought before and they where so happy to see me back, they gave me a really good price on the stove and free delivery, specially now that we are going through hard times with this Pandemic, it really matters to know that they care for their costumers. I recommend this family owned shop 100% Please Don't let the bad reviews fool you, because they are so sweet and responsible, they truly care. I just had to leave a review, thanks again Pepe's Appliances read more

We bought a refrigerator & washer from here 9/10/19 only to receive non working appliances. The washer needed the inlet valve replaced (Our maintenance checked it ) which I decided to keep because I don't use hot water to wash clothes. The Refrigerator would leak water & would only freeze the water ( not crush or make cubes only made a block of ice. The water dispenser was broken I had them for almost a month & they had yet to return my call to honor their warranty. Despite several calls to both of them the only one who will randomly answer is the wife only to say her husband doesn't have time & is very busy & she misses calls because she busy tending to their child. Understandable yet unprofessional! After numerous calls I finally tell them I will be seeking legal action & contacting the BBB because they were fully aware they sold us non inspected appliances. I was told by a third person who claimed to work there they buy them at auction ect & resell them without checking if they work properly. I Repeatedly called & after so many attempts they have the nerve to tell me they're going to show up whenever they feel like it because of her husbands schedule. I let the wife know I too am busy & he can't just show up when they want to. I'll need a 24hr notice to at least make arrangements on my end because I also work! I got an attitude & was told I could return the stuff & get my refund which I did! Did I mention she even had the nerve to point out I live upstairs & they don't do business with people who lived upstairs because of liability issues yet she was quick to take my money when I was ready to pay & all of a sudden living upstairs wasn't an issue. She didn't do any favors for me. This was dishonest on their end because they knew what they were selling us was garbage. I only wish I would have read the reviews before wasting my time.Beware!!!!! read more

I recently purchased a used refrigerator from Pepe's, and drive it home to kernville. Unfortunately, it had a few unidentified mechanical issues. We contacted pepes the next day and they provided us with an upgraded, no problem switch to a different fridge. They are excellent, we were very satisfied with their service, and would recommend them to anyone. Best price in town! read more

I have been shopping around town for a washer dryer spoken with several places but none of them had the amazing customer service like Pepe's appliances. After hearing about them through my neighbor who has had her washer and dryer for the past 6 years I knew this is the place I wanted to go. I wish every place had someone as wonderful as Ruby working there because of her I will not only get a washer and dryer but anytime I need an appliance I'm going to Pepe's appliances. Thank you for the great customer service!! read more

I purchased a $550 fridge from here and it was broken from the beginning, the seal isn't on correctly which makes the fridge think the door is ajar and when the door is ajar for more than 5 minutes the most ANNOYING alarm goes off!!! I'm woken up most nights randomly with the alarm going off. I have called them multiple times and have been told someone will call me soon and nothing... oh yeah I purchased it August 25th 2020 and I'm still waiting... read more

I bought a stove last year and am really satisfied. It was an easy transaction with great customer service and a large variety.

My wife and I were looking for a good deal on a gas stove for a rental. We had searched four other used appliance stores before coming to Pepe's Appliance Store. The prices were better than other stores we checked out and the appliances were all clean (unlike a few of the places we shopped). Jose and Ruby were very pleasant and not high pressure in the least. We decided to pay a little extra for delivery and it was very well worth while. Jose arrived on time, unloaded the stove by himself, and set it up for us. He made sure before leaving that the stove worked as it should. I will recommend this business to our friends. read more

Do not buy used appliances from this place. They obviously do not check them to see if they work before selling them. They claim they repair their appliances with new parts. We bought a washer there 2 days ago and it already broke down. Not to mention when I got home with it to hook it up the hose casing was cracked and the lid sensor didn't work. It quit working after one wash. Stay away from this place. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

I've never had to try so hard to get someone to provide me the service they offer. Multiple calls, texts and messages and they will not call me back to come out for an appliance repair appointment. On to the next one. read more

Recently moved to the area and we needed all of our appliances for our new home. After looking at a few places, we came across Pepe's Appliances (neighbor recommendation). They had exactly what we were looking for at a price that worked for everyone, plus appliances came with a warranty!! Ruby helped us from start to finish with our purchase, they delivered same day.
