They tried to make the experience as reasonably painless as they could. It is always going to take some time if repairs are needed, and if parts are needed that are not readily available it is hard to blame the store or the mechanics. Juan recommended they start my oil change while waiting on the alignment machine to become available. Resulting in my wait being less. I appreciate that but also impressed he considered that option. Went to pep boys in Apopka Fla to have my 12 volt socket check. Next thing I notice the worker had take my tires off checking my Brakes. Told me I needed brakes at 950 Dollars. I had went to this PepBoys in particular because it was the only tire place nearby that was open at the time. When I got there I was greeted politely and got taken care of right away (which was great). I had a bubble in my tire and so I bought some tires online and I had went there to have them put it on for me. After 15 minutes of waiting around they finally looked around at my vehicle and seen my tires that I was going to put on. In about another 2 minutes they came back inside and handed me my keys and told me that they couldn't change my tires on because they had no sticker on them. Im writing this review because after I had said I had a bubble in my tire (which is really unsafe) they still refused to take me in a change the tire because of the sticker that wasn't on the tires I brought in. I will NOT be going to another PepBoys again!! read more

Yesterday I was driving on Rt. 441 when my truck started acting funny, I realized I was running outta gas. Not being familiar with the area I stopped in this Pep Boys and was greeted by Mike I was in panic mode because I couldn't find a gas station he walked outside with me to road and pointed out the closest gas station for me. My truck wouldn't start at this point. He went to the back and added just enough gas to get me safely to the gas station. Thank you Mike for your kindness I so appreciate you !!! read more

The location is very clean they are very organized they usually have everything in stock that I am looking for also when they say they're going to call you back they call back in a timely manner the mechanic work area is very clean and maintained with no cluttering they also allow you to view the work that they're doing on your vehicle with no hesitation read more

I moved from Mount Dora and I miss this Pepboys! This is the only car service center I've ever been loyal to. I've had really hit-or-miss service all over Orlando (and found the worst Pepboys ever on LB McLeod), and it has me missing the friendly, dependable service I was used to from this Pepboys. The guy behind the counter was So nice. Sometimes the wait was a little long but they had a comfy waiting section with TV and nice places for a quick bite in the same parking area. Very convenient. My car was always returned to me with everything taken care of, no future repairs on the agenda, and reasonable prices for all of it. They also use the Synchrony Card so anything I get through here was 6 months no-interest. This is a top notch service center. I realize this more than ever with the dodgey, unreliable services I've been getting in Orlando. I plan to start making the trip to Eustis for my car repairs just because of how much better they are here. read more

I was here 3 months ago for an oil change. I got the round about with things I needed done, left 1400$ later. So I'm back today, for an oil change, and they are trying to say there's more issues. I feel really uncomfortable that either 1.) they didn't check these things 3 months ago or 2.) that every time I come here, they're just trying to get a buck out of me! Really saddened by their FRAUDULENT care. I usually check my oil dipstick before I have my car serviced. This was my first time coming to this location but I have been a customer of the franchise for years and just trusted them for something so minor. I took my car in and paid extra for high mileage oil change on 12/28. Today, 2/2, I took my car to our local mechanic. My dipstick is COMPLETELY DRY and there is no leak anywhere. Awful and dishonest. I will be reaching out to the manager this weekend and calling corporate as well. Shame to deal with such crooks and not a good way to get their business started. While my wife and I have had great service from the Pep Boys in Apopka, the service, attitude and level of manipulation at this Pep Boys in Eustis has been horrible and we will not be returning. I am a middle-aged professional woman & scheduled an appointment yesterday for today at 1PM. Their calendar was wide open 25 hrs prior, so I went in at 9AM as I got off work early. A couple of older men were outside chatting & both came in when I presented at the desk, but one before the other. When the second man entered the room the first man (notice I do not refer to them as "gentle-men") staring making fun of me that I arrived 4 hrs early for my appt like it was a big joke. I told him I would just come back & they then said they could take me now?!...but my synthetic old change was not $54.99 as the coupon indicated, but $89.99 because of this that & the other! I could not get out of that place quick enough. They were the prime example of the olden days chauvinistic PIGS & both need to retire! They would be much better suited in a boat somewhere blowing snot rockets & scratching their balls! Some employees are great, others feel it is okay to mock and laugh at your decisions while you wait in their establishment. I understand a company needs to make money but to tell you something needs to be done right this minute when it clearly does not is not okay. I was obviously not impressed with the professionalism and the overall experience.
