Kari Shelton (Recruiting Specialist) goes above and beyond to assist everyone. She has a contagious, bubbly, and outgoing personality! She is truly an angel! If you are looking for a job, Employment Source is the first place to go!! :-)

I would suggest that everyone stay far away from this business ! I found their service on indeed…read moreand was placed at a business through them. Upon my hiring it was explained to me that due to the covid epidemic, The Employment Source no longer handed out paychecks from their office, but they had started mailing out the checks. Up until this issue, I had received two checks through the mail, and those checks only took one to two days to reach my residence ( because I live across town. ) On January the 14th, 2021 AIG CD 430 PM, I contacted The Employment Source to inform them that I had not yet received my paycheck. I was told by their secretary to wait until the next day, which would have been a Friday and to call back if after my mail person delivered the mail, if I don't recieve my check. Due to then closing early on Friday's and my job requiring me to work till five PM, I was not able to contact their office. The following Monday was a holiday, so I contacted them on Tuesday January 19th, to advise them that I had not yet received my paycheck. At that time I was told that if I wanted them to reissue another paycheck that there would be a $20.00 fee. The reason for that fee was because their bank charged them that fee, and they would not waive the fee. I told them that I felt that I should not be charged a fee to have my check reissued and I asked to speak with the lady that hired me, and after having her tell me that there was nothing that she could do, I rrequested to speak with the office manager. I attempted to explain to her that I worked for them, which made me their employee and that I felt they had an obligation to insure I received my paycheck. I then asked her why she felt that once she dropped my check in the mailbox, that she felt that check became my responsibility? She was very rude and got frustrated, and eventually hung up on me. I talked to the state, and was informed that I could file a complaint after 10 business days from the closing date of the pay period. Before filing my complaint, I called The Employment Source to advise them that as of today 01/25/2021 that I had not received my check, and that I felt that I should not have to pay their $20.00 fee and that of the state got involved, that fee would most likely be waived, and asked them to reissue my missing paycheck, and the office manager said no ! This is the worst experience that I have had in the 34 years of my work experience, and again I can't stess enough that this agency does not take care of their employees, and should not be allowed to continue their practices.
