My husband vouched for this place, I love him but I'm highly disappointed!!!! They didn't include any condiments that we asked for with our order. Fries was burnt and soggy at the same time. My wings tasted like they were fried in fish grease. Only gave one star because I was forced to in order to post my review.

The prices are already solid, but the dinner specials make the deals even better. The staff is very friendly and keeps things moving quickly, which is great because the food comes out fast and piping hot. The chicken itself is breaded to perfection--super crispy on the outside while still juicy and flavorful on the inside. You also get your choice of dipping sauces, which makes it easy to mix things up. If you're in the area, this is definitely a must-visit, especially if you love fried chicken. It's the kind of place that's simple, fast, and absolutely hits the spot every time.

Oxtails were out so I got a Jerk Chicken plate, Brown stew chicken plate, beef patties, and Mac and cheese. Service was a little slow when I went in but for more home style cooking I would say it's acceptable. They were polite. The food was good aswell. My only issue was the Mac and cheese quality of pasta used. It looked and felt like the kraft Mac and cheese pasta but seasoned in G&G's way. You get quite a bit of food aswell. Paid around $50 for what you will see in the photos. Ambiance was lowlight and relaxing.

As you walk in great to be welcomed by what looks like a place where the locals meaning college crowd hang out. Dropped with sports and college memorabilia, well used tables and chairs, we were properly greeted by a young college student. Quickly shown to our tables we were welcomed by our waitress. She was very friendly and helpful in highlighting some of the better dishes. So we ordered the gator appetizer which was lightly breaded and tasted very fresh, served with a side of remoulade dipping sauce. Then we had a bowl of seafood gumbo and the red beans and rice with have a hot link. Both dishes were very flavorful and I would definitely recommend them. The only negative is that they were both a little on the salty side for our liking. Oh and my wife had hoped for more okra in the gumbo. But yes I would definitely recommend this place and it was great to see a diverse crown from young kids to the elderly in what looked like a college bar environment.

The first hurricane I drank was pretty stiff, and you can see the difference in color with the second one - i dont know if they switched bartenders or not but they were definitely mixed differently. The entrees were very tasty, and I recommend adding a little of the Coosh's seasoning on your fries and other dishes if you like an extra shot of flavor. The gator was cooked well, the shrimp were plump, and the jambalaya pasta was a delightful choice as well. Portions were huge, and I'm glad the wife and I split an entree. Despite not being able to finish our entrees, we got 2 desserts to split amongst the 4 of us - carrot cake and Oreo cheesecake, and both provided enough of a sugar rush to get us home... then cause us to crash. Great experience, and looks like it would be a great game day destination!
