So we ordered the gator appetizer which was lightly breaded and tasted very fresh, served with a side of remoulade dipping sauce. Then we had a bowl of seafood gumbo and the red beans and rice with have a hot link. Both dishes were very flavorful and I would definitely recommend them. The only negative is that they were both a little on the salty side for our liking. Oh and my wife had hoped for more okra in the gumbo. But yes I would definitely recommend this place and it was great to see a diverse crown from young kids to the elderly in what looked like a college bar environment.

However, when I went to the restroom to wash my hands, the floor was so sticky my feet would stick to it. My sneakers made sounds as they were pulled from the floor as I walked. The sinks were dirty and the toilet was not much better. A lot of young people work here which is a good thing but it seems like they have very little oversight. Tables were left sitting without being bussed. This restaurant has a potential to be a four-star restaurant. Because of the slow service and the dirty restrooms I removed a star.
