The owner decided to add the Hawaiian aesthetic to their seafood restaurant and it has been a good move so far to me. The ambiance is pretty clean with additions to their interior design. They added mini surf boards. Overall, this is a must try spot for Hawaiian and Japanese fusion foods. Especially if you enjoy Japanese BBQ.

It's not exactly clean eating, but you do feel like you're eating real food and not some TVP & MSG concoction. Everything I've gotten here tastes good and comes in large portions. They have a big menu, and I like to try something new every time. The only thing I wouldn't reorder is the ribs because there just wasn't much meat. My favorite app is the spam musubi. My favorite entree is the seafood boil, but that's not something you would want to order unless you're feeding a family. For drinks, they have fountain drinks or canned "Hawaiian" options. The interior is bland but comfortable with pleasant music and clean bathrooms. Everything is served in to-go containers even if you're dining in. You can order ahead via their website but cannot pay ahead. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

As I looked at the menu, I got a little overwhelmed, not because the offerings were too many. It's just that everything look good. My husband asked the cashier what she would eat. Her response, was everything! She then started rattling off the dishes, why they were good, portion sizes, etc. Whatever she was selling, I was buying, it all sound good. We each ordered something different. I had the chicken philly, our son had the catfish & wings, and my husband had the red snapper. Every meal was just as good as the other. If you have a taste for seafood, this is a must try!

The fried okra was perfect, very light breading and very tender. The green beans were cooked with the right amount of bacon. All the food came out nice and hot. I have to give a shout out to our server Amaya, The Houston Girl. She was so friendly and attentive. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and meal at the same time. The drinks came right away. The conch fritters came out a bit later. We had plenty of time to enjoy our fritters before our meal was served. Everything was timed perfectly. I normally dont like to order appetizers and my meal at the same time, so often they are served back to back.

The fish was delicious and went perfectly with the grits that I got as a side. The oysters were okay, but I probably won't order them again. The grilled shrimp were also very tasty. They were well seasoned with onions and peppers. My other side was a zucchini and squash medley which I also really enjoyed. The hush puppies were average. The customer service was mixed, because while they seem to be pleasant to everybody, they managed to misplace my order. As a result, I must have waited almost 40 minutes while everyone else was served. They gave me a partial refund and apologized, which I appreciated. Next time I go, I will definitely call ahead to place my order.

Everything from the apps to the strawberry shortcake at the end was a ton of food, and by dessert I was done. It runs about $200 for two but you leave full and happy, and the wine and cocktails are great. The only downside is the pace. Our server was the sweetest but there was a lot of waiting. Waiting on menus. Waiting to order. Waiting on the check. Didn't ruin anything, just slow. One handy thing if you drive electric, there's a Rivian charger right nearby, so you can plug in and go eat while it charges. Slow service aside, the food is that good. Highly recommend.

The former manager had always greeted us in such a familiar way and made sure that we were seated in comfortable area and we never had a bad experience at this restaurant. All of that changed on Sunday. Since we'd last visited there, a new manager has arrived. There were four very tall men and two women in the party. They took us to the first table right as you came in the door-that had originally been set for four- and they turned it into a six while we were standing there. We squeezed into the booth and it was obvious that we were not going to be able to eat comfortably order wine and have a place to put anything. The manager came over and said this was the table that was assigned to you when you made your reservation weeks ago. It is where we had you. You didn't request a table.. Our host said that he never dreamed that they would take a four top and try to squeeze us in. The manager was a little confrontational and refused to make any sort of allowance. There was even room in the bar. He could've offered to let us sit there and order a drink and maybe apps while he solved the situation and we would've all been happy but he did nothing to try to. Correct, a bad situation. He actually made the whole thing worse.. Connors itself lost a very large ticket as there were six of us and we were all plannina to order wine and drinks. And the server lost out on a large tip. We left because we knew it was going to be a miserable experience. I doubt we'll ever return to Connor's because luckily enough after we left there, we discovered a local restaurant right across the way by the name of Little Paris! The owner is also the chef and it was a magnificent dinner and the Service and the people were so nice. The chef came out to talk to us. We will definitely be back to little Paris.. Connor's probably not!

I ate every single ounce of food on my plate! My ribeye was cooked perfectly medium, the asparagus had the perfect texture, not too soft with just enough crunch, and those homemade potatoes?! YES!
