From the 1990's Pentagon Center open it's door. It use to be a Bell Atlantic Factory for the telephone company one of many the east coast. Slowly they work it inner of the plant and build ramp for parking lots. Slowly it became the center it's now. But a lot change from the beginning. They had Border Book Store, CompUSA Express, Salat restaurant, and another I can Remember. Starbucks got a lot better and more seating and plug outlets and free wifi. Part of uses to be Border's Book became a CVS store :( Another part become a teen store. Do we have enough teen store all ready? Metro Subway cool, Metro Bus still runs from here down were I uses to live at. It was always a great place before going home.

The Pentagon Centre Mall is not the worst mall I have been to in Northern Virginia! All of the stores in here are all department stores and warehouses. There are two restaurants and one bistro. For the most part the whole mall is clean except for a rainy or snowy day. I like how there is a variety of shop stands in this mall. It is like a hidden treasure. The reason I am taking a star away from this mall is because this place is a little outdated and lacks a quick place inside to eat and a bathroom. Not being a die-hard local, I go off the assumption that this place is an expansion of the Pentagon City Mall and that is why this place lacks a quick place to eat and updates. If you from this area I could see how this mall is an essential to go to, but if you are a tourist or are from out of the area, you are not missing much, except for a Chevy's or a California Pizza Kitchen. Which Malls does Pentagon Centre beat? Landmark Mall - Many malls beat this place, but to be more specific, this mall has more stores than Landmark and it is not as outdated as Landmark. Potomac Mills Mall - Pentagon Centre saves headaches and shows Potomac how first floor mall layouts are done. Also, Pentagon has a more secure feeling! (Oh ya, Parking here is better than Potomac!) Tyson's Corner - Yup, I am claiming it! What makes Tyson's so bad is the parking. I can park here at Pentagon guaranteed!

Good place to find all the treasures. There's also plenty of high-end options to choose from. Can't…read moreever leave here empty-handed. __ I thrift. @DCthriftish I eat. @f.hux

I usually prefer TJ Maxx over Marshalls, so it pains me a little to say this, but the TJ Maxx in…read morethe Pentagon City area has been pretty underwhelming compared to the nearby Marshalls. Since I now work in Arlington, I visit both stores often, hoping to score the kinds of finds TJ Maxx is usually known for. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck at this location. I still pop in from time to time out of habit and optimism, but more often than not, I leave empty-handed. Selection & Finds: The selection here feels hit or miss, leaning more toward miss lately. There's a sign for a "luxury" section, which initially caught my attention, but the items there tend to lack the quality you'd expect from something labeled luxury. It feels more like a concept than a well-executed section, which is disappointing when you're hoping to discover standout pieces. Store Experience: One of the biggest challenges with this location is how messy it can be. Racks often feel overcrowded, and items are frequently out of place, which makes browsing feel more like a chore than a fun treasure hunt. Compared to the Marshalls nearby, this store feels noticeably less organized and harder to shop. Service: The associates have been fine overall, but the general store upkeep makes the experience feel a bit rushed and less enjoyable than it should be. Pricing: The prices here can be decent, and I know TJ Maxx is known for good deals, but lately I've noticed more items that feel overpriced for what they are. Sometimes the discounts don't feel as significant as expected, especially when the quality doesn't quite match the price point. It makes it a little harder to justify purchases, especially when I'm not finding standout items to begin with. Overall, I still love TJ Maxx as a brand, but this particular location hasn't lived up to the standard I'm used to. If you're shopping in the Pentagon City area, you may have better luck at the nearby Marshalls.
