The van had less than 1000 miles on the odometer and was in perfect condition. My only complaint is that this location does not stock furniture dollies to rent. There was no indication of this when I reserved a dolly during check in. I expect that many customers would need to reserve a furniture dolly if they are moving heavy pieces.

1. For a place called Security Self Storage, the gate is most certainly not secure. There have been…read moremany times where it fails to close, fails to open, and the keypad that's supposed to be inside. The gate has been destroyed, so there's no way to get out in an emergency without a vehicle. 2. Parking 'pits' instead of using ABC stone, they used cheap gravel with no fine bits in between. If you know anything about having a gravel driveway without the fine bits, your truck will just sink in where it's parked. If you don't have a trailer or it's not a big deal, if you're bringing a trailer or a camper, it will make it noticeably harder to maneuver. 3. Customer service: I brought the following issues to their attention. Nothing was done; they said it's normal for facilities to need maintenance or something along those lines. Additionally, it's no surprise that their computer system is unreliable as well. I've had to go in and pay my bill manually almost every single month. I was sick in May and did not go in manually to pay the bill, and they slapped me with a $100 late fee and threatened to auction my equipment. I emailed the manager -- Patrick -- back the same day, letting him know I was out sick and I would log in and make the payment, but requested the late fees to be removed due to their system error. They refused. I have no way to look at my storage contract because they make you put your initials in on the computer in the office, and then they fill out the contract themselves. I have no idea what it says, so at the end of the day, I ended up paying the hundred-dollar late fee to prevent them from auctioning off $100,000 worth of equipment. Overall, their business practices are opaque, and straight up extortionate, and there are tons of other storage options. .

I called Shaw RV on March 20, 2024, to schedule an appointment to have them check out the RV. They let me know they were busy that week, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, would be the first available appointment they would have to do their review. I had an appointment to bring the RV to be serviced on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 8:00 am. Nobody was there until 8:15 am, when Shane arrived that only then that they would have the RV inspected no later than Friday, March 29. That was not conveyed when I set up the appointment, and I was under the understanding it would be checked out while I waited, which was my mistake for thinking it could be done while I waited. Shane took all my information again, and I told him I would return before 5 pm to leave the RV, and he would do his best to get everything done before Friday or, at the latest, by Friday. After calling on Thursday, March 28, to check the progress, I had to leave a message for someone to call me back on their voicemail. I was waiting for someone to return my call. I called again on Friday, March 30, left a message, and again, I was waiting for a return call. I called again on Monday, April 1, and spoke with Paul. He gave me a rundown of how long the diagnostics for each item would take, varying from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the issue. I asked what this would cost, but I received no answer other than that they would go over everything with me once everything was inspected. Since I had yet to hear back from anyone by 3:07 pm on Tuesday, April 2, I left another voicemail message to call me with an update. Again, no one returned my call by noon on Wednesday, April 3, so I drove to the Service Department and met a gentleman named Alan, who worked part-time there. He was unaware of the status but did find the paperwork on what was being done, although he could not update me on when all inspections would be completed or pricing; other than that, some parts needed to be ordered. Alan said he would call me by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 3, to give me an update. Since I have not received a call, I called at 4:38 pm on Wednesday since the shop closes at 5 pm in hopes of getting an update. Again, no one answered my call, and I had to leave another message for someone to call me back. I'll add updates, but I am very frustrated at this point. My potential buyer has been patient, but I must find out how long that will last. I intend to sell this RV with any known repairs that may be needed before completing the sale so I can convey the condition and perform repairs or provide credit to let the new owners complete any work.
