Since my cell phone was broken, the owner claimed he had to give my truck away despite me proving my credit card info to secure the truck. Luckily, I was referred to Nehal the rental rep. who was exemplary in her customer service. Not only did she have a truck for me, she was extremely pleasant throughout the process and provided me with fair discounts to compensate me for the time and frustration of not have a truck ready for my huge move. I highly recommend going to this location to rent a moving truck because of Nehal.

This place has a lot of units and it is easily accessible and it has plenty of parking if you're…read moregoing to come here. You can park right up to the loading dock to make it easy. You can have access from 5am to 10pm and the office is open in between that like 7am to 7pm most days. Some staff are bilingual in Spanish. And sometimes you will find people waiting out there to help you for some money and it is very beneficial when you need a secondhand and you can get the storage things done faster. The only warning is if there are people who store food the rodents might come so make sure you pack your stuff in bins that can't be eaten through and anything you prize should be wrapped well. And definitely don't leave any food in the storage please. You will regret it and the other renters will have a nightmare.

The guy behind the desk was super friendly and efficient. I was checked out and had the keys to the brand new car in a matter of minutes. Solid rates and when I called to extend it one more day, it wasn't so bad fee wise. I'd definitely rent here again. Since it's one dude, just hope there won't be multiple people renting at the same time or there will be a back up. It's the 'burbs, so the chances of that are slim to none.

The manager Dominick was more than accommodating throughout the process. There were a few minor issues with a couple of the vehicles I rented which Dominick sorted out immediately each time. All of the cars I got were extremely clean and had low mileage. On one occasion, I returned a car and realized about a week later that I left my house key in the vehicle. Dominick tracked the key down and returned it to me the next day. Amazing. Truly a great experience all around. I highly recommend renting from this location.

The facility is spacious, clean, and well-lit; and the staff was helpful when resolving a problem with my lock. There's a covered loading area, so weather is never an issue. The fees are much lower than comparable storage options in NYC. Plus, the nearby train stop makes it easy to get back into the city. My only criticism is that parking can be limited during peak times.

Absolutely horrible experience here, worst out of any U-Haul ever. We arrived on time for our…read morerental truck and due to coronavirus we were trying to register on our phones as it was advised. The website was an absolute mess and we were unable to get through so we went inside. Dude there wasn't wearing a mask. It took forever to sort out our truck rental and we ended up trying to charge it about half a dozen times. (And when I looked at my charge card later apparently I was charged AND refunded 3 times in a row.) This entire process delayed us roughly 40 minutes. Or project unexpectedly took longer than we thought, and we were going to end up late past our "drop off" time. But since we got a text specifically mentioning how to drop off the truck "after hours", we figured it was ok. Then I get a call 30 minutes before closing time asking when the truck will be back and that they are a gated facility and if the truck isn't back in time my car will be locked in for the night. We were NOT informed of this beforehand. So then we had to make a mad dash to get back in time. Then once we were there trying to find a way to possibly fit our large cargo in my small car the guy there said that we could just keep the truck overnight. Why couldn't we have been told that an hour earlier???? That way we wouldn't have had to panic and rush. All in all this was a very bad experience and if we need a U-Haul again we definitely won't be coming to this location. Update: When we returned the truck the next morning we were charged an additional $56. We were not informed of this ridiculously high price of keeping the truck overnight, which we were encouraged to do by the employee. We ended up being charged $120 for this one pick up truck plus the $25 insurance.

Truck wasn't there when I arrived. The person who had it who I was told was "very reliable" forgot…read morewhen they were supposed to return the truck. There was no other truck I could use and the closest one was Elmwood Park. I reserved the truck over a week in advance due to time constraints for people helping me move. Needless to say I did not get a truck and had to make due with a friend's pickup and other friends' cars. I never even received an email from Uhaul apologizing for this fiasco.
