You should stay away from this place. It has nothing over the competition. There are many better places to stay in the Taormina / Giardini Naxos / Letojanni area of Sicily.
The rooms are small, the bathrooms are uncomfortable, the breakfast is just so-so, but MOSTLY, the owners, a husband and wife team, are a major headache. He is VERY smarmy, with a "bait and switch" episode related to the room, and she is VERY rude, that is, AFTER you make the phone contact for info and check-in to the hotel. Another guest who I ran into at a nearby convenience store (a doctor traveling solo) shared the same kind of experience. Sicily, in general, is very upbeat and friendly. One doesn't need this kind of sub-par treatment. After unpacking, I stayed but only used the Villa Mora as a place to sleep, get cleaned up and have breakfast. Bottom line: the WORST hotel / inn I've ever stayed in during a visit to Europe. read more
