Restaurants, bars and shopping literally around the corner. Check in was easy and friendly. Staff were very kind. Lounge is comfy. We used Bonvoy points so I can't comment on pricing. Car park on site for 22€ for overnight. Our room was 114. Upgraded due to being a Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium Elite member. Breakfast was included. Room was luxurious. Nice robes and linens. Extremely quiet. Garden view. Balcony off our room but it was cold and rainy so we couldn't use. Only negative is Hitler stayed here way back when. This is like staying at Mar-a-Lago now days!

My room, on the 3rd floor, had beautiful light, a completely modern bathroom/shower and comfortable bed. I would definitely return here again. This former home of educational/social theorist, Rudolph Steiner, gives the place a feeling of Weimar's early 20th century past as well as a focus on the natural comforts of pure food, clean surroundings, fresh flowers and polite interactions. The bathroom, albeit outdated, was very clean. Downstairs is a huge lobby with a piano. The restaurant is wonderful. I ate there twice and both meals surpassed my expectations and were reasonably priced for such an experience. Customer service was great. This would be the hotel of my choice when in Weimar.
