Where do I begin. As many business interactions I have been involved in recently would warrant a…read morereview but not a good one. Lately I have been researching for a mortgage lender to help my son purchase his very 1st home. My son works for himself and is young. He assists me and my husband financially and is a wonderful human being. It's too bad that wonderful human beings weren't all rich and didn't have to go to these bogus companies FOR ANYTHING but in the real world if you aren't a millionaire or more, a person needs to borrow money. In my son's case I have feverishly gone to several mortgage lenders since April of this year- that's almost 2 months of "shopping and comparing rates, seeing if the mortgage company is a good fit for my family and have actually applied for a loan with one of them." Before I give my review on this company, trust me I would rather not submit reports or reviews if I didn't have to but every now and again I will take out the time to bring forth a review on a business that in my opinion should be oversighted and watched because of poor business practices. I'm new to the realty industry. I have researched and studied extensively for a few years while trying to debate whether we should stay here in Las Vegas or relocate to another state. I have compared articles on how to purchase a home and have actually contacted mortgage lenders that these articles have recommended probably because they haven't personally spoke to these people. At Movement Mortgage, Las Vegas, I want to put out there to the world, if you are a working person that isn't rich and God help you if you are disabled in any way and have a fixed income or benefit, unfortunately the opportunity of obtaining financial wealth by means of buying real estate is one of the greatest lies ever told. Don't waste your time if you are an average working person or family trying to get a home with government backed loans or any other mortgage loan thinking that there won't be so much red tape, hurdles. I applied for a U.S.D.A. loan product that pretty much offers 100% financing, supposedly but always remember there is no such thing as 100%. I should have known and have wasted so much precious time trying to find a lender that truthfully offers this loan product. There is no such lender. This is why: For the sake of a lender not openly discriminating against you (which they do and get ready for it), various lenders will but up bogus claims of working with government-backed loan products so as not to exclude the lower-income borrower but once you put in an inquiry and submit YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION that's it. When a lender finds out that you are applying for this type of loan, they can't discriminate to you directly but they actually do. This is what has happened to my family from Movement Mortgage of Las Vegas and also Pinnacle Lending Group of Las Vegas. They also go by Paying it Forward of Las Vegas. They don't pay anything FORWARD. I FOREWARN POTENTIAL HOME BUYER APPLICANTS: I will save you from so much time and disappointment. These two lenders named above (and there are others) is not and I repeat NOT for the lower-income borrower and they doggone sure don't want your business if you are trying to use government-backed loans. I could write a book on my experiences going to these lenders. The average mortgage lender and I don't care WHO OR WHAT THEY CLAIM ON THEIR WEBSITES do not and will not work with applicants that need down payment assistance, or regular working person applicants and they d**m sure don't want your business if you are disabled. Remember, don't waste your time and send your social security numbers, personal anything to these lenders. Think of them as taking your application and throwing it way. I will give the the loan officer from PAYING IT FORWARD- PINNACLE LENDING GROUP the grace that she didn't give me and my family when she didn't even follow-up with an answer to my email or phone call to ask about our application. She completely dropped me. Good she didn't run our credit. See the main warning I want to give the public is: They run your credit, knowing that they don't want your business and they have your personal information "floating" out there. I won't give her name but trust me, don't use this lending group and PLEASE for the sake of decency if by some chance you have some well off family and friends write down these two lending agencies and show them my review. I wouldn't be rich and give these people my patronage. As for Movement Mortgage of Las Vegas, I will give this unprofessional so-called "team leader" the grace that she didn't give my family as well and not mention her name either. Another realtor who dropped my family who has my family's personal information and is very rude. I don't know how these people can work out with the general public and get away with this kind of work ethic. We are now in what I call: A business Apocalypse.

They were happy to take our social security information "to do a soft pull" supposedly, and then they were supposed to call us back and never did. Then we texted and they texted back saying they were "with a client" and then we never heard from them again. So now I have to pay LifeLock to lock my credit file because I think this is some kind of scam. We were actually speaking with a different mortgage company who did actually do a soft pull and said we could most likely qualify, so I'll just continue working with them! Beware unsolicited mortgage broker help I guess, so unprofessional!

It is those kind reviews that brought me to this company to inquire abt first time home buying. I was completely transparent about where my scores were and provided everything up front. I worked with Aimee H who seemed so nice at the very beginning. We talked on the phone and she was very pleasant, she said my scores were only a few points away from where it needed to be and then suddenly out of nowhere disappeared. I would email her and she failed to answer anything until I pressed her and said that if I didnt qualify to just let me know and Id move on elsewhere. Finally she gets back to me, no apologies for not answering or anything, and says that my scores qualified however she was concerned abt my student loan debt. why she couldn't have just said this before I dont know. I told her that under IDR that my payments were zero and which she appeared to be happy about and told me she'd just add that and would get back to me the next afternoon with an answer. Well she turned around and did the same thing again...no reply, no answer no follow up. After a day or two when I didn't hear from her I sent her my 2020 taxes that I rushed my accountant to finish, and asked if she would be needing anything else...and guess what? totally ignored again. This company was recommended through the home is possible program in las vegas which helps with home ownership...down payment assistance, home buyer education etc. I never thought Id be faced with being treated like this through a program that claims to help people with difficulties. all she had to do was be 100% transparent from the get go. I am now working with another lender who took the time to thoroughly explain to me what the possible issue was and what I needed to do to get there. There may be other agents in this company who do great work but the experience I had with this person puts a black mark on this company for me. I wouldn't waste my time if you expect transparency and communication. I will make sure to leave reviews about my experience everywhere I can.

The first red flag should have been when they ran credit without giving me a heads up. I was willing to let that go. Disclosures were sent to me twice which I signed. All of a sudden in the middle of the process without any notice there was a slight delay in their communication. I was then told that they were in the middle of changing companies and that's the reason why. When I asked about the changing of companies and why I wasn't notified of this I was told it wasn't going to impact me at all and in fact it was going to be a better process and refi. It was even going to save money. I was told a 3rd set of disclosures weee going to be sent, which never came. Day after day and week after week at this point I was told there would be an appraiser contacting me. Each time this did not come to fruition. Days and days went on and it seemed somewhat strange that the once communicative Charles was now MIA. Eventually I reached him and he told me he was also going to reach out the same day, what a coincidence. At that point he told me that the old and the new company were both now having separate issues. One was with the fha and the property and the other with DTI. I provided what I was told would be very helpful for the type of loan issue and that I would hear back by noon the next day. The first company also ran credit and apparently didn't calculate correctly. So that was another mistake....Guess what, not only did I not hear back the next day, but 4 days later I still had not heard back. I reached out to Vincent with no response. Charles later texted back saying he was sick and that he was sorry but they couldn't meet the required timeframe and that they were doing their best. I let him know this was not how to handle this type of situation thru text and he said he would probably feel better and would contact me the following day which again he did not. At this point I reached out to the supposed new company and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Something is fishy and I will be reporting them to the BBB. I tried multiple times to resolve with them directly and they stopped responding. Maybe Vincent is sick too. Never had an issue such as this in my life. Btw: Lione Capital website is mysteriously not working. Apparently they are between companies, so I was told, and they are now also working with West Capital Lending. Calls left with them were not returned. My property management company told be to beware of them after he talked to them and he was right! Do not work with or trust these brothers. Something is off for sure.
