The free breakfast was great. The only frown we had was the non-existence of an advertised heated pool. The pool was cold, but bearable once our body got used to the water. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area. Compared to some of our bowling teammates that chose other accommodations, our accommodations were superior to theirs. We will be returning to this hotel when traveling in the area.

She completely went the extra mile to help me when it was really something out of her hands and to be honest, didn't have to do at all. Mind you it was late evening on a holiday weekend. Taryn reached out to the general manager Andy. they worked together over the phone to get my booking corrected and got me in a room in no time. Thank you both a thousand times over. The hotel was soooo clean. From the lobby, the pool, to the room. Even the elevator smelled nice. The dinning area is up to date. The breakfast is delicious as well. The fruit wasn't old & the cereal wasn't stale. Ima waffle girl & had fun making them (thought I was a chef lol). The rooms were very clean. I alway wipe rooms down whenever I arrive to a hotel & the disinfectant wipe was not dusty or filthy at all. Under the toilet seat was clean with no wet spots. The towels & the end of the toilet paper all were folded so cute & symmetrical. Loved it. I'm so glad I got to stay here. I had a great experience and they helped make my trip go a little smoother. It's definitely a nice family (pet free) hotel with plenty of near by food places & a target. I hope this review reaches the hire management team because this was a great experience and Taryn & Andy definitely deserves recognition for the 5 star customer service on short notice. So we gave the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey a try, and overall, we're glad we did. When we first arrived, we noticed there's a lot of construction happening. There are clear signs at the front and back entrances asking you to check in before unloading your car--which we appreciated. We parked under the awning and walked in to find even more renovations inside the lobby. Right away, we were greeted by a staff member offering complimentary drinks--a nice touch. Check-in was quick and easy, and thanks to our Marriott Platinum status, we were upgraded to a high-floor room overlooking the pool. The front desk staff was helpful and told us the best way to reach our room was from the back entrance, which made the walk much shorter. Our room on the 9th floor looked recently renovated. It was clean, well-kept, and featured a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The view of the pool courtyard was great. However, there was one major issue: the heating/AC unit had exposed wires hanging out from underneath. That's a serious safety oversight, especially if you're traveling with kids. I cant believe that the electrician that tied in this unit left it this way and then who ever was the inspector going back and checking the work did a poor job and the lady that cleaned the unit should have also caught the problem. For this reason is why I gave 3 stars. The pool is both indoor and outdoor, connected by a small pass-through. It's heated, though honestly, it didn't feel very warm. There's a food and drink area by the pool, and in the evening they had live music. While I liked the idea, the sound quality wasn't great. I was sitting near the singer and could barely understand her. Thankfully, I recognized most of the songs and could follow along. Our stay included the breakfast buffet, which was held in one of the ballrooms during renovations. While it didn't have a typical restaurant vibe, it served its purpose. Made-to-order omelets and eggs were available, along with standard buffet options. Not fancy, but filling. I had an ice pack I needed to keep frozen, and the front desk gladly stored it in their freezer. I also chatted with the staff and learned that all floors, the lobby, and the restaurant are being renovated, and a Sheraton Club Lounge is being added for Platinum members and higher (or for an additional fee if you're not elite). We plan to stay here again, I will also make sure that I ask for a room with a balcony. It's a short drive to Hershey, and the rates are much better than staying in Hershey. Hopefully, once renovations are finished, everything will look great--and fingers crossed they don't raise the prices too much afterward.

There are not enough good things we can say about this driver and this company. Our agency has been taking motor coach tours throughout the country with a variety of motor coach companies since the late 1970s. I cannot speak of the tours prior to 1992, but, in the last 30 years, I do not believe we had a better bus driver than, Dee or a better motor coach. Dee showed superb driving skills with the ability to get to destinations in a timely manner without sacrificing safety and security. While driving Dee was able to provide a safe and comfortable experience for our travelers. She helped the passengers in all aspects of the trip, even when our chaperones were ill and were unable to go along on some spots on this trip. Dee went above and beyond when the hotel our group was staying at let us down. Dee was polite, courteous, and showed a professional manner with all passengers at all times. She was also outgoing and had a personality that kept our tour lively and fun. In past trips we have had very good drivers and drivers that were very personable, but, Dee provided the best combination of outstanding driving and great customer relations. During the 3-day trip, Ahmed was personable and fit in with the group members and interacted with them when he wasn't driving. But most importantly, he was a very safe driver that I could relax with from the front seat. Disappointing & Unprofessional Experience…read more Brian's Taxi Service came highly recommended, and after reviewing the positive reviews, I felt comfortable hiring the company to provide transportation for my clients during their trip to Harrisburg and Lancaster, PA. Unfortunately, their experience did not meet expectations. Transportation was arranged and paid in full in advance, yet my clients had to remind the driver about their scheduled pickup. They ultimately arrived approximately 35 minutes late for their scheduled show in Lancaster, causing them to miss part of an experience they had already paid for. My clients also reported that there was poor communication, no assistance with their luggage, and a lack of the professional presentation and welcoming customer service they expected from a transportation company advertising reliable, safe, professional service. As a travel advisor, I take the vendors I recommend very seriously because their service reflects on my business as well. I had hoped to establish a relationship with Brian's Taxi Service and potentially refer additional clients and fellow travel professionals who frequently send travelers to Sight & Sound. Based on this experience, however, I cannot confidently recommend the service at this time. I've never been scared to be in a car in my entire 52 years of living. On top of that, as a female, he told me and all sorts of disgusting verbiage that he could take care of me sexually. Then started talking about how I would be really good in bed. He looked at me about a dozen times like I was a piece of meat. He was in the front driver seat and I was in the back passenger seat. When he really wanted to get his point across, he would turn his head all the way around face me and then look me up and down like I was his prey. I was not safe at all, I was scared and felt that I had to fake kindness towards him. Otherwise, it could be bad . All of that and $219.18 charged to my PayPal debit card. Also, directly after that, my card was getting all sorts of strange charges. Brian is a scammer. He's a thief and I would not want any female alone with him. I don't even know how he has a business unless there's other services he provides that are not legal, which is highly likely. When I asked him for a credit after I was safely away from him. Average rate per hour is 2-3 dollars, especially in PA. The minimum wage is $7.25 an hour and he paid himself $200 plus tax which PA does not even have. $$$220 for less than a half hour in a vehicle unfit for driving and a sexual predator I'm currently hiking the Appalachian Trail. Directly after he charged me $220 all sorts of charges started hitting my card. It is the one way I pay for things safely and money is added to my account when needed. Since all that happened, they had to shut down the card so I was not able to Resupply with food or fuel to cook. I will not get a new card for probably about five or six days. What I'm going to do in the meantime, I have no clue, but I would appreciate people reading this and taking it to heart because what he did is wrong and I don't want anybody else to have to deal with that. The vehicle on his site is not the vehicle he has currently he has a smaller SUV. It is dark just like the one in the picture, When I questioned the charge via text when I was safe, he said that he had to charge me that much because he knew nobody else would bring me to the train station. That statement was false. I had plenty of ways to get there. I was just looking for the best cost savings as I had just been charged $50 for a 15 mile ride and thought that was a lot.
