We have visited all of the Dr.s at the practice several times over the years, and while they are all great, we love Dr. McWilliams. Getting an appointment is easy and we never have to wait long once there for our scheduled appointment. They have always been prompt about returning calls during on and off hours. Appointments never feel rushed and they always take the time to answer all of our questions. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

So I went to their website and filled out an appointment request form and it said I would get a call back in 3 days. 7 days later no call, so I called new patient again and just voicemail. So I call the regular appointment line and they transfer me, then records person rudely cuts me off and won't let me talk, only keeps asking me if I sent my records yet, like I was supposed to know that, or that was ever communicated to me on their voicemail or website, like I'm doing something wrong. She then says she didn't pick up the phone when I called new patient because she's doing her work. That even if I send my records they are busy and it will be over two months to get an appointment. I feel bad for her because she sounds stressed and said she's the only one in her department. I'm sure their doctors are great but is it worth it? It's like talking to a rude TSA agent trying to get my daughter an appointment.

The nursing staff is extremely warm and welcoming when we come in and is happy to give advice over the phone. We've even found ourselves needing after hours assistance a few times and their nursing staff who monitors the phone has always gone above and beyond to make sure my child is healthy and safe; not to mention very reassuring to stressed parents in stressful situations at all hours of the night. It never feels like an inconvenience when we call. The doctors on staff are equally well trained and knowledgeable. When going through our visits they make a point to speak to my child and get her input directly in how she is feeling and make sure to never push her if she is feeling anxious about certain parts of the visit (I.e. checking ears if not truly necessary). They also keep the parents in mind, making sure we understand the full scope of whatever we're dealing with and preparing us with all the necessary resources to give our child adequate care. I really cannot recommend this practice enough. From primary care to sick visits, we've never had a bad experience.

I thought it was a little weird that as new patients I couldn't call and schedule a new patient appointment. The office process is to drop off all of my children's medical records for the doctor to review and once accepted as new patients, i could then schedule appointments. It seemed kind of extra to me and almost caused me to look for another pediatrician but I am glad I didn't! The office staff is always pleasant and so helpful, whenever I have had a sick kid issue they were always able to get my children in very quickly and whenever I've needed paperwork they have always been more than accommodating. You can't ask for anything more than that. Neither of my children have ever seen Dr. Dominey (who I believe is the owner). My children always see Dr. Schollenberger or a PA depending on the severity of their issue and I love Dr. Schollenberger! She relates well to children of various ages, stops to talk to the parents and explains everything out fully. When you leave you never have any questions as to what's going on and what is on the path for your child! Who could ask for more than that.

I had gone to Blue Bell Family Practice for a severe illness and had been misdiagnosed to the point that I had to be hospitialized over New Years two years ago. I should've known the Dr. wasn't "all there" when she showed up in a two-sizes two small track suit, chewing gum and not being able to ask me questions about what was truly ailing me. Yikes! A friend of mine suggested LMG Family Practice, specifically because their office is on the corner of 73 and 202 in Blue Bell - a 2 minute drive away. I got an appointment with Dr. Charles Kish - within minutes, I was hooked. Dr. Kish treats me like I'm an individual, he looks over everything, he's thorough and when I bring something up that needs attention, he never looks at me like I'm wasting his time or that I'm crazy. Recently I was diagnosed with arthritis at age 34 - he never said "Oh you are crazy, you are too young," especially as I have other underlying factors that pushed the arthritis. The front desk staff is also truly great. Robin (Office Manager) and Sarah (RN) are always helpful and get me in when I need to be seen. From basic treatments and checkups to their 24/hour on call services, we've been extremely satisfied in every way. First on Dr. Beth and Jessel. They are both extraordinary and I'm never concerned getting scheduled with either one. They are knowledgable, caring, sensitive and sweet with our kids and bring that same level of care when you have to call them at 3 am with a screaming baby. I get the sense Jessel may be more experienced, but it honestly hasn't mattered who we see. But I suppose for a really serious matter that's who I'd want to talk to. The staff at the office is also great. I've gotten great over the phone help from nurses and even the crew behind the desk is very nice. And overall the office is cheery and nicely decorated. Finally, when my wife gave birth to our second, we never got to St. Peter's hospital where they have rounds and instead had to go to RWJ in Somerville. Even though they couldn't go into the hospital to see us, we got fabulous support from Dr. Jessel when the baby was having some difficulties. She has worked with us very closely through medical issues with our second child and gives us the comfort of knowing we are getting the best care possible for our children. She is extremely responsive and always makes us feel like our concerns are important. My two daughters both go to ABC mostly due to the fact that they are the pediatricians dejur if you…read morehave your health insurance through Lehigh Valley Health Network. When you go you are forced to choose one of the six doctors for your child and after that when you call you always need to choose their name from the phone prompts. The problem with that is a lot of times you cannot get in contact with someone on that doctors team and you may need to call multiple times until your can speak with anyone as their phone lines are always busy and you are stuck in phone tree hell. Sometimes if your child's doctor is not available they might be able to squeeze you in with whomever is there. If that happens make sure you know any medical history issues as not every doctor there is chatty or likes to be bothered with these last minute appointments and they are not afraid to show a little attitude about it. The doctor they see is really nice guy and is very easy to talk to. His big problem is that he is super conservative with his prescription dose and usually you will have to make two sick visits to cure any problems because he is always "afraid" to write a prescription for too strong of a dose. So every time one gets sick, it's double the office visit co-pay and double the prescription co-pay. He also likes to write prescriptions for drugs with no generic equivalent. (And the office never has samples. I've asked multiple times.) ABC is a big LVHN corporate practice that is good because they have access to the network's resources but like any other large corporate entity do not expect to feel like anything other than a number and usually you will be processed thru the office very impersonally and you might want to consider a smaller practice if that's not a trade-off you want to make.
