This is very dishonest pricing. Four rows back would have been more reasonable. But worse was the "welcome" we received on arrival. My partner had a camera in a backpack and we were told we would have to leave because cameras were not allowed. But we are in our late 70s and there was no way we were going to hike several miles back to my car to store her expensive camera. Besides, on the date when I bought our tickets, this message was printed directly on the ticket form (slightly abbreviated, as follows): Please no strollers, car seats, ice chests, dogs, chairs. No professional camera equip. Well, my partner is an amateur photographer so we were in the clear... or so we thought. I showed this message to several security agents but they insisted that their set of rules invalidated the rules we had been given even though they were clearly stated on the tickets. Later I found the conflicting set of restrictions the security agents insisted on under "Frequently Asked Questions". This very odd location was something the security folks kept under their hats. Now is that where you would look if you wanted to see the rules which could get you removed with a forced march home? FAQ? The first security man we spoke to was around 25, and after finding out we had a camera, he tried bodily to bar my way in. At 79, I'm not so quick on my feet and I ran into him as he stepped in front of me. He complained that I shoved him. I told him I was going around him and he decided to "tail" us, following all the way to our seating section, maybe 200 yards. He confronted me again and I told him that the incompetence of the rodeo organizers in putting out two conflicting sets of regulations was no fault of ours but whenever I mentioned regs, out came his FAQ entry. This young man was seriously lacking a sense of fair play. Eventually the cops came and most of the officers were competent and kind. When our "tail" (amazingly!) asked the police if they were going to arrest us (no kidding?), the lead officer told him we were not a problem for the police. Eventually, after at least 20 minutes of arguing, the security gang (who were up to four or five Gen Z's by now) let us take our seats as long as we kept the camera in the backpack. No problem. We were just there to enjoy the rodeo. So, one suggestion to FPR: don't hire adolescents to be security agents. They haven't got the maturity or the training. But, in addition, as several other reviewers have written, this rodeo is run in a casual and disorganized fashion. The actual rodeo events were okay: the riders were competent, the horses strong and beautiful. The problem is that you had to wait so long for the actual events. The start time was supposed to be 7:15 but there was no hint of a rodeo until 8 pm or so. Then there was a long session of putting young kids on sheep and letting the animals run. Mostly the kids stayed on for less than one second per ride and fell right at the sheeps' feet. I am not aware that there were injuries suffered but it must happen sometimes. And the thought that a child could suffer serious harm made me cringe. Another huge negative was this announcer who roamed around the rodeo field filling the empty time segments with his supposedly hilarious observations on life. Allegedly a comic, he was a complete drag. If you want to see rodeo, I recommend La Estampida, a dance bar/rodeo in Durango, Mexico. That is something worth seeing! The dancing is good too. Again, no criticism against the cowboys and their horses at Folsom Rodeo. As far as I could tell the riders were professional, skillful, and mindful of kindness to the animals.

The show was scheduled to start at 2, but by 2:30 we had only seen one event and were severely overheated. I took my child to stand in line for water, only to learn they were out, but not from the person selling it because I never got to talk to them. We stood in line for 25 minutes and didn't even get to order- there were still 10 people in front of me! Not sure what the wait staff was doing- they only had like 5 drinks to serve and pizza, but somehow they made each order take a really long time. Just ended up leaving, but the walkways were so crowded with families trying to watch the show in just a tiny bit of shade, that we could barely get out. It was a super crowded event at $33/person, they beed to invest in better infrastructure and management. It was an all around awful experience.

Got lucky finding street parking a block away only bc we were there super early. They of course had portapotties available. This reminded us of flea markets which we had frequented ourselves. Remember this is a small town. So don't have too high of expectations! We didn't. It was a good time to get our morning steps in! We did experience peach ice cream at the local Candybox store. There was a bakery tent that had a long long line! Their pastry peach goodies looked phenomenal & mouthwatering!!! Lots of vendors had Lafufus or Labubus & that type of merchandise maybe bc it's the latest craze. There were other unique items too that you have to see for yourself. We were surprised & amazed! Live band entertainment came later but we had other plans. I'm sure they entertained the audience well. My wife even watched the peach pie eating contest online! It was crazy funny!!! Woohoo!

Located directly in the heart of downtown Marysville in the historic shopping district, this outdoor festival honors and commemorates everything peach-related including peach pies, peach cobblers, peach lemonade, peach milkshakes, and of course peaches all by themselves. Since this event was held from Friday 7/18/2025 to Saturday 7/19/2025, I came here on that Saturday at around 5:30pm. Best of all, they offer free parking everywhere around the festival site. Keep in mind that this festival is relatively small and only takes up a few blocks of downtown Marysville. The entire proximity is from 2nd-9th St's (north to south) and from B St to E St (east to west). However, there is a lot to see (and eat) as there are roughly 150 vendors and sponsors that participate in this event. Everything from face painting to a pie-eating contest to live music (with two separate stages) and lots of seating to enjoy entertainment. Finally, they also offer a ton of non-peach food trucks (including lobster rolls, BBQ, and much more). Additionally, they had a small area where children could take pony rides (for $10). And if in the event you need to go, there was a respectable amount of portable toilets available. The main reason why I came here was the comfortable mild weather. Usually during this stretch of July can see temperatures hover around the century mark. Fortunately, it was in the upper 80's during my visit and perfect conditions for walking the streets without being drenched in sweat. During my visit, I indulged in an iced cold peach lemonade, enjoyed a peach cobbler w/ice cream, and purchased a few several peaches to enjoy the following day. When it comes down to it, this event is good (but not over-the-top amazing). Many of the food options are overpriced while the peaches are much more than what you'd spend at a farmers market. But if you want that small town feel, this place will have you covered. Things move much slower with a lot of that small town character and charm. With that said and done, I am giving the "Marysville Peach Festival" a respectable and above average four-star rating.

We live in the Sacramento area and according to the GPS it would take us around 40 minutes to get there and it was pretty accurate. We hit some traffic, but it never came to a complete stop. The GPS took us the round about way and we entered in near Pet Food Express. We totally missed the mall entrance and thus avoided the crowds. On the other hand we weren't sure if we were going the right way as it was a different way then we've ever taken. So good for the GPS getting us there. Parking is a little tricky if you don't know the area. We pulled into the lot and the directions said it was in-front of us so we parked without having an eye on the restaurant. It parked near a pretty easy landmark, Pet Food Express so we were able to find our car leaving. We're thankful they have maps of the complex as we were able to look up Zocalo on the map and get our bearings. I didn't see spots right out front of some of the businesses. So, I'm a little confused as to how those with disabilities get around. It was a long walk if you had a walker or cane to get from our parking spot to Zocalo. Parking in general can be tricky as there are so many people concentrated in such a small area and parking is limited. We thankfully found a spot, but it was a bit of a walk. Since we were there early we decided to do a little shopping. The first store we spotted and were standing in-front of was a shoe store, Sole Desire, so we went in to browse at all the nice, comfortable, and over priced shoes. The store was known for comfort and had all women's shoes that we could see, they didn't appear to have men's shoes. They had some nice shoes on sale, but they were still really pricy, all around the $100 mark. I did find 2 pairs that looked like the ones I have at home, but different colors. They are nice, but you can feel every pebble you walk over so in the end they really aren't hat comfortable. I found another pair that I liked and that were summery, but for the price I really didn't need just another pair of shoes. I was in the need of sandal so I perused the sandal selection. I haven't had cute sandals in years. I have functional water type shoes, The heaven duty type Teva and Keens, both great for hiking and water activities, but definitely not cute or sexy sandals. Now a days I need comfortable shoes for my old feet so it's hard to find something that will work for me. I picked up a pair of BIza sandals. I'm really hoping and crossing all my fingers and toes that they will be comfortable not just sitting around, but also walking. And that is the type of stores they have in the Fountains. After dinner we hoped to do a little more shopping, but everything was closed. We were so disappointment as it was still early in our minds as the sun was still out. The stores could have stayed open another hour or so. The ice cream shop was still open as we saw a lot of people with ice cream. My husband liked the vibe. It was a happy, yet not snobby crowd. The fountains were a nice touch. Something fun to watch and gather around. The music they piped in was soothing. They had corn hole at one of the fake grass patches near Pet Food Express. It looks like a real gathering spot for the active kids. There were too many kids around so I wasn't able to take any pictures of the kids area. They have a cute little train that goes around. $3.00 per person (cash only), with children under two riding free when accompanied by a paying adult. That's going to be a hard sell for lots of people because most of us don't carry cash with us.

According to some at XFINITY, the owner/management of the Fountains stated that they don't "WANT" to provide handicap parking for the disabled. The other issue that is problematic are the stores that bear handicap stickers of wheelchairs on their windows yet provide no way for people in wheelchairs and other mobility disabilities access the store. I've recently moved to the area from Washington, DC. I am stoned and outraged at this year negligence and non-compliance of the Americans with Disabilities Act in heart of California!

My favorite is still the Wild Bill Tattoo van that spewed flames from the exhaust. Lastly, we went back down the street and got to know some of the vendors. Vernon Street is blocked off for cars, food trucks and vendors, wide array of your typical street vendors, kiddie section and live bands that put on a free performance. If you don't like eating from food vendors, you can always get a decent meal at one of many restaurants that are on Vernon Street.
