It's only 4 weeks long and there are 2 sessions held on Saturdays. The first session of camp is one hour, and it focuses on pitching. The second session is 2 hours long and it focuses on batting, fielding, and defense. You can select one of either session or both. We chose to do both. This is the first time my son has ever been involved in this camp, and he absolutely loves it! The coach is great with the kids, he's really enthusiastic and you can tell that he loves what he does. My son has learned more these last two weeks about skills than he has in his short youth baseball experience. Plus, he is having a great time doing it. If you are teetering on whether or not you should sign your child up, I would say go for it! I think that the skills my son is learning now will build his confidence this upcoming baseball season.

No one in the entire department is competent. They "misplace" his financial aid EVERY semester and offer NO help. They staff in financial aid is rude, and could care less about the students.

Geneva's adult online program is very easy to follow, and the school's success coach is always posting videos, and sending text reminders for important due dates. As someone who has taken classes through the community college, it's clear that Geneva really works together to provide an easy to follow syllabus for their students which is something that really helped me to stay on track with my studies. Geneva College is a Christian college - some classes are heavier than others when it comes to incorporating Christian beliefs in to the syllabus. For me, I would prefer my classes to focus on my degree at hand, rather than focusing so much on the belief side of things, I enjoyed learning about those things, but not when it was was the subject matter of the expensive courses I was taking. There were a few classes that focused so much on the biblical side of things that the class ended and I was a little disappointed in the lack of textbook information that I was taught throughout the course, but all the way around it has been a great experience for me. Ultimately, I'm very pleased with the degree I've earned. I was part of small classes, and the tuition was affordable compared to other small, private universities.

The meeting rooms were spacious, nice chairs to sit in, tables just right. Was there for 3 days of meetings. They fed you all day long. First we had continental breakfast and it was different every day. Then they served lunch in a dining room. Served buffet style but everything was really good. Some of the best macaroni and cheese I've had. Their gumbo was delicious. Even the meatloaf was good. Then in the afternoon they had an assortment of snacks. Again, different choices every day. Beverages were available all day, a great assortment of sodas, coffee, tea, water, and the best thing about it all...pellet ice. If you have a chance to attend a meeting here or looking to book a meeting space, this is a great choice. I was impressed.
