However today on the phone I was given the real poo-poo treatment, even though I am calling about a serious personal medical issue that is hard to even discuss. The medical assistant didn't introduce herself, was short, rude, and curt before I could even open my mouth. Now I can only imagine what a horrible job it is to triage inbound calls in Baltimore City to a law firm, however it's pretty easy to tell that I am a well informed patient with a college degree, not some Shmoe jumping in front of a bus. A paralegal should be able to figure that out and adjust their tone accordingly .
