There is no shortage of negative things to say about others these days. It is rare when someone takes the time to share positive words about others. My family's experience with Gilman & Bedigian was nothing but fantastic, amazing, great, and wonderful. Well, maybe not amazing. (lol). Maybe working with an attorney can be amazing, but in my family's case, they were definitely fantastic, great, and wonderful. My mother was seriously injured in a slip and fall at the mall. The guilty parties did not want to settle directly with her, so I tracked down a super law firm with the help of a retired judge in Chicago. Gilman & Bedigian did not disappoint. From the start until the very end four years later, the entire staff was exceedingly quick to respond to all our inquiries. (Hey, we were good clients. We did not bother them every week asking for updates.) Lauren Geisser was/is our attorney. She is sharp, proficient, and just a damn fine lawyer. She is always friendly and responsive. She showed sincere concerned for my mother. The firm's staff was the same way. Jennifer, Kelsey, Anthony, and Elizabeth always took the time to address the inquiries I had. In the end, Lauren negotiated a nice settlement, but she also won a large jury verdict in Howard County. (Some say it was the largest jury verdict in that county in many years.) The firm stayed with us through an appeal in which we prevailed. Yes, it took 4 years. Part of that was because Covid shut down the courts, and they became backlogged with cases and hearings. My mother is now 94 years old. The fall was terrible. She cannot walk and can barely get from the bed to the wheelchair. It is no piece of cake for her since the fall. No attorney can change my mother's plight. However, Lauren fought like hell to see that my mother was compensated in the only way she could be...in cold, hard dollars. Stay away from this cartel. I highly discourage anyone from using this law firm for a car insurance claim. Outrageous 35% fee: They take a massive cut right off the top. Separate medical bills: Their fee does not cover medical costs. You have to pay those yourself. Left with nothing: Once the insurance company pays out, the firm takes their huge cut first. The bottom line: After paying the firm and the medical fees, you--the injured party--are left with the absolute shortest end of the stick, you end up with like 20% while they collect 80% of your payout. Make that make sence. Do not find out too when its too late. Caveat Emptor. They operate like a cartel designed to enrich themselves while leaving the victim with almost nothing. If I hadn't switched, I wouldn't have been fairly compensated. This firm is organized, well staffed and did not once make me feel like a burden. They seem to have two sites and Yelp so I'm posting my same review for both sites. On their website they advertise themselves as providing services for veterans. I contacted them regarding an appeal I want to file with the VA. They contacted me and said they actually don't provide Veteran services they just provide information for veterans on their website. They went on to say that they only do personal injury cases. It clearly states on their website that this is one of the services they provide. As an IT professional, I know that sometimes companies will do this to drive more traffic to their website. They are doing false advertising and claiming that they provide services that they don't actually provide. It is sad and disappointing that you would use veterans for your own personal gain, without actually providing the services that you claim you do. read more

Never again. Skip over this law firm hire someone else. They dropped me in the middle of my case after learning the business we were suing didn't have insurance. I had 15 days to find a new attorney or the court could dismiss the case, judgement against me by default, or assess court costs against me. I was the injured party and they bailed. read more

I had this firm represent me on my accident case and I basically handled it all on my own from obtaining medical records to calling to make sure bills were paid. I literally had to remind them to do so many things...Initially I met with Mr. Gilman who assured me he was going to be handling my case....next thing you know I got switched to another attorney Lauren and then ended up with Dustin Furman. No explanation at all as to why the switch occurred. Every time I called for an update on my case I got the runaround....it got to the point that everytime I called I was constantly reminding them of what they should be doing! Also whenever I called the paralegal handling my case (Jordan Spence) always seemed to be too busy to speak to me and when I was promised a call back it never happened..... They totally dragged their feet. I threatened to find better legal representation and that didn't help either. They were certainly not worth the 35% they took out of my settlement! read more

Don't waste your time. They'll promise you what they don't deliver & they took 65% of my settlement which was not substantial or even fair. What I was left with doesn't even cover my out of pocket expenses over the past 2 years receiving medical treatments. They confidently boasted 6 months but it was 22 months before the case went to trial & they changed attorneys on me without telling me. Said attorney didn't communicate any progression with my case, unless I initiated contact, except to tell me my case had been postponed. That was the only time I heard from her which would make 6 times in 22 months. My case was postponed 6 times. Unconscionable crooks. read more
