Melody Pairo (C-RNP) is amazing, she always takes the time to listen to your concerns and discuss things until you feel comfortable with everything. She's the most compassionate doctor I've ever had, this has also been the feedback from people I have referred to her. The girls at the front are always pleasant and helpful. I'm so grateful that I found this office and more specifically my doctor all those years ago, I couldn't be more pleased.

This practice definitely does not know the definition of the Hippocratic Oath, "first do no harm"…read more I have been a patient with them for over 20 years. I was self-pay for some of that time and was placed on a budget plan with monthly payments, which I kept up to date and paid double payments or more each month until 2020. I got skin cancer which drove my balance up substantially. We own a business which came almost to a standstill during covid. I missed 2 payments, so the billing department sent my account to a collection agency. The woman who runs the billing dept. called me and told me that they would not treat me or refill my diabetes or high blood pressure medicine until I pay the balance in full. This would take me over a year with an affordable payment plan. The following day someone from the office called and told me that I needed to make an appointment in order to refill my medicines. I figured someone from the office realized how heinous it was to deny medications to a diabetic patient due to a billing issue. I thanked her and told her that I would call later to schedule. Relying on this, I attempted to make an appointment while in the office for my child's appointment. In addition, while I was in the office my doctor instructed me to get a lab order from the front desk for my next appointment. The girl at the desk pulled up my account and then excused herself while she disappeared in the back. She returned followed by the woman in charge of billing. She rudely told me that she thought that we "were clear" that I needed to pay my balance in full before they will treat me or call in my meds. I explained that the last thing that I was told was that I was to make an appointment. That is when she rudely told me "well the buck stops with me and the girls don't know anything about the billing. And I told you that you have to pay the balance in full before we will treat you." Even after I told her that I am currently insured she said, "well we are not going to rack up anymore bills." Humiliated in front of my child and everyone in the office, I asked for a list of my medications so I could go to an immediate care to have my medications prescribed and she then said, "You can go online on our portal to get them." Even though I didn't have my login info with me, I left the office in tears. I cannot believe that they would put my health in jeopardy and deny me access to life-saving medicine. It would have cost them nothing to print out a piece of paper and this is a courtesy that they have always done in the past. They definitely put their bottom line before the health of their patients! *I gave them 1 star only because this site forces you to select a rating!

When advanced it…read morecan put your family on an extreme emotional roller coaster that you can't get off and find yourself pleading for mercy from a higher power and looking for miracles in modern medicine. It is an unbelievable blessing to have a doctor that communicates on your level, explaining the situation we are now in and what we are doing to get to the next level. When it was touch and go, our doctor lived at the hospital for days making himself available for necessary treatment, calling in his team for middle of the night surgeries. Then on to explanations, detailed as I wanted in layman's terms to really understand what was happening to my other half. Never short on time, always keeping me informed whether by his repeated phone calls to update me or hospital visit. Encouraging but realistic. He would laugh when I'd tell him that to me he was next to God, but those are truthful words. He was holding my beloved's life in his hands. Staff at the PRMC ICU could not have been more qualified and efficient in their care, always checking and charting and knowledgeable of the current condition, paying utmost attention and ready and willing to answer my questions on the wall of monitors charting each vital tied like multiple umbilical cords to my husband's body. Never to interfere with their work that was so important, but needed by me to manage control of my emotions and help eliminate some of the fears. They are angels of mercy in my eyes. Always positive, caring, watchful over their patient. The nurses also sang the praises of these doctors without reservation, they loved working there because of them. Truly a great team. All interaction was so respectful of my husband, tender to our feelings, careful knowing how fragile we both were in this horrible situation all the way through to the end. A simple 'Thank You' to them would never be enough for their support given at a most difficult time. I could not have asked for better and am completely satisfied that every effort was made to bring us to a peaceful ending, which they did.
