Maybe worst of all, they have you prepay for utilities and if the actual usage is lower they give the balance to the owner of the property, not you. Thievery We will not rent from them again.

Everything is good." Deposit was processed. On June 23rd, of this year after the 2026 US Open I received "reservation canceled" w/out any reasoning. The listing fox LX 3 was pulled from VRBO. I located a listing on Air BNB for a substantial increase in the daily rate. After reaching out to LuxeVaca I was given multiple reasons for the companies cancelation- from the owner not approving the daily rate, then there was an integration error, to finally a third party software glitch. LuxeVaca has refused to honor the original contract. My deposit was refunded however, my contract was in place for over a year prior to LuxeVaca canceling and I literally at this late of a date cannot find anything else to accommodate my family for the 2027 US Open.

This includes a DEAD BAT we found under the couch and 3 seperate ones living and flying around inside. One of them lived in the primary bedroom making it unusable. We have saved the voice recording in case this needs to be escalated. 9% of bats in Oregon have rabies and having one living in the bedroom is a major health concern. The mice aren't very fun to live with either. The worst part was that, despite leaving early, we were assured there would be no refund for the nights we are not staying. Unfortunately we cannot post videos to Yelp so you can see them flying around nor can we post the voicemail they left saying "what do you expect, you're in bat country", but you can see the photo and screenshots! Stay clear of this company at all costs.

Jen is a wonderful baker (a breakfast bread pudding one day; mini churros another day), and each morning we had a varied and hearty breakfast that was delicious and well-balanced. The house itself is big and inviting with hip old timey jazz pipedor more modern-day chanteuses gently piped in. Enclosed porch for reading or just relaxing. Our room had a private porch, too. So much here. So many ways to really unwind. Walking around the grounds is inspiring. I ran into Derek a time or two who was relaxed but busy on the many projects that keep him focused here. The whole place looks perfect for a wedding, or a family gathering, or even a business get-away. Or, of course, just a simple, lowkey retreat. Lovely hidden (but easy to find) gem. She and her coworker Michaela were always kind, responsive, and thoughtful, even dropping off a cute white pumpkin with cinnamon and a bulletin board of swatches that I still use for school. I did end up pausing the project for budget reasons, but I did go with several of her coastal luxe product picks and I am really happy with them. If you are ready to splurge a bit on higher end pieces and want genuinely sweet, honest people to guide you, Studio Pierre is a beautiful choice.

The goats have moved on to greener pastures and I'm ecstatic with the results! There is not a…read moresingle square inch of green less than 6 feet off the ground anywhere. We thought this would take a week but it took 3 days - those goats take their work seriously. The good: -Billie and the goats and dogs (and emu) are all delightful. Billie was extremely accommodating and hard working. The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. So that's it, thanks for following. I'm really happy to finally be able to present this and I'm actively brainstorming on how we can get a goat co-op going in our neighborhood.
