I highly recommend this to anyone who is searching for a place. Also the manager Susan and Staff are very friendly and helpful. They are the best housing property management I have ever known.

Throughout my time working with them, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that tenant interests were prioritized over protecting my property. Despite a clear no-pet agreement, a dog was allowed on the property. I was informed that the tenants were advised by CPM to obtain a doctor's note identifying the dog as a "therapy" animal. Meanwhile, neighbors reported ongoing issues, including the dog behaving aggressively and attempting to get through the fence. At one point, I was told after an inspection that no dog was present. Later, when neighbors continued to report the dog being there, the explanation changed. I was told the dog belonged to the tenant's brother. Regardless, the dog remained on the property. The backyard sustained damage, and I was left responsible for repairs without additional pet fees being collected. There were also financial concerns. The rent increase never took place, I had to ask for it to be increased due to all of my expenses for the home going up. Additionally, despite the home being recently remodeled inside and out prior to tenancy, I continued to see charges for what I considered unnecessary repairs. I frequently had billing questions and accounting that didn't add up or make sense. Communication was another major issue. I was initially told by the business owner, Carrie, that neighbors would be provided with contact information in case of issues, but according to my neighbor, that never happened. I ultimately had to provide the neighbor with CPM's contact information myself so they could report the dog concerns directly. Working with the office staff was frustrating. It was often difficult to reach the assigned property management contact Susan Correa, and most of the time she did not have answers to my concerns. Eventually, I began emailing Carrie directly because I was unable to get clear answers. When I informed her that I intended to terminate services, I did not receive a response. Overall, I felt unsupported as a homeowner and dissatisfied with the service and communication. They do not care about your property, you have to advocate on your own! Based on my experience, I would highly suggest you to not pay this company for the WORST service!

I had personally bought and sold four (4) homes before this transaction, so I have some experience as a seller. All of my experiences in the past with other realtors were positive. I serve as their reference as a satisfied customer. Regrettably, Mr. Sturvist's style of real estate client services was concerning. For example, when the buyers' offer was made he sent the agreement electronically to sign without reviewing the terms of the offer in detail with us. Mr. Sturvist's lack of communication regarding the content of agreements and disclosures to sign continued for most of escrow. During escrow he made a unilateral decision that was in contradiction to my previously expressed request. During the final few weeks of escrow Mr. Sturivst began to communicate and I recognized him for that. The most disappointing part of the sale of our home with Mr. Sturvist was that he did not act as our advocate. The buyer's agent was clearly advocating for them and she did a wonderful job. I am not sure how much we were economically disadvantaged by Mr. Sturvist's lack of advocacy, but I lost confidence in him. Therefore, I cannot recommend Scott Sturvist.

I initially reached out to Peter because he was the only real estate agent who had successfully sold homes in The Dunes this year, and it was clear he understood the market better than anyone else. After working with him, I can see why. What really stood out was his pricing strategy. There was an identical home with the same floor plan just two doors down that had been sitting on the market for weeks, but Peter positioned my home differently and created immediate demand. He made sure the property showed at its absolute best by coordinating professional window cleaning, staging, and high-end marketing, including HD photography and drone footage. Within just a few hours of the home hitting the market, Peter personally showed the property to a buyer whose agent couldn't make it--and those ended up being the buyers who purchased the home. I had to leave the state during the process, and Peter handled everything. He managed the entire listing, communication, and logistics so I didn't have to worry about anything. He also provided a clear electronic timeline for the pre-listing and escrow process, along with consistent updates, so I always knew exactly where things stood. When it came time to close, we needed to complete a remote online notary, and Peter's escrow team handled it seamlessly without any delays. He was extremely proactive with city requirements as well. He identified issues early and personally took care of them, including moving a pergola and shed to meet City of Marina requirements so there were no problems for the buyer during escrow. Peter is a real estate agent on the Monterey Peninsula who knows how to price, prepare, and position a home to sell quickly and efficiently. If you're selling a home in Marina--especially in The Dunes--you want him representing you.

Choosing the right Realtor made all the difference for us. After working with Peter Boggs, my husband and I understand why he is consistently one of the highest-rated Realtors on the Monterey Peninsula. One of the easiest individuals to communicate with, it oftentimes felt as if we were talking with a knowledgeable, trusted friend in Peter. He guided us through every step of the process with honesty, professionalism, and genuine care. From the moment our offer was accepted until the day we received the keys, Peter orchestrated one of the smoothest, fastest, and most seamless escrows we could have imagined. We closed in just 14 days on a turnkey home in one of the Monterey Peninsula's most sought-after neighborhoods. That doesn't happen by accident. It happened because of Peter's local experience and presence, close working relationships, attention to detail, and transparent and clear communication. Like some buyers today, we thought we could do most of the legwork ourselves. We searched every real estate website daily, perused Reddit, explored neighborhoods, and toured open houses whenever we visited Monterey. What we quickly learned is that technology can help you find listings--but it cannot replace an exceptional Realtor. Because we resided out of town, Peter became our trusted eyes and ears. He toured homes for us, sent detailed videos and photos, answered countless questions, and gave us candid objective feedback. He met with home inspectors, contractors, engineers, and even potential neighbors on our behalf. He never tried to hurry or pressure us to buy a house; instead, he helped us determine whether each property was truly the right fit for our lifestyle and long-term goals. One of Peter's greatest strengths is his ability to educate his clients. He taught us to look beyond beautiful staging and fresh paint. We learned about coastal construction, deferred maintenance, moisture intrusion, salt-air exposure, inspections, resale value, future repair costs, and, most importantly, the overall quality--or "bones"--of each home. That knowledge saved us from making an expensive mistake. We fell in love with one home that appeared perfect, but Peter identified years of deferred maintenance. Walking away was difficult, but looking back, it was absolutely the right decision. Instead of settling, Peter encouraged us to stay patient and trust the process. He often reminded us: "There is a home for every buyer." He was right. Not long afterward, we found the home we were truly meant to own. Looking back, Peter didn't just help us buy a house. He helped us build the life we had imagined. And if finding the perfect home wasn't enough, Peter gifted us with the most beautiful housewarming surprise. He gave us a hand-painted portrait of our home by local Monterey artist Stacey Gregory, along with a top-shelf bottle of nice champagne and other thoughtful gifts. Every time we see that custom painting hanging in our home, we are reminded of our new life and the person who made it possible. If you are searching for someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, trustworthy, well connected, and genuinely committed to his clients, we recommend Peter Boggs without hesitation. His extremely personable and likable style makes the inherently stressful home buying experience unbelievably memorable. He truly believes there is a home for every buyer. Thanks to Peter Boggs, we found ours. We will always be grateful!
