Throughout my time working with them, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that tenant interests were prioritized over protecting my property. Despite a clear no-pet agreement, a dog was allowed on the property. I was informed that the tenants were advised by CPM to obtain a doctor's note identifying the dog as a "therapy" animal. Meanwhile, neighbors reported ongoing issues, including the dog behaving aggressively and attempting to get through the fence. At one point, I was told after an inspection that no dog was present. Later, when neighbors continued to report the dog being there, the explanation changed. I was told the dog belonged to the tenant's brother. Regardless, the dog remained on the property. The backyard sustained damage, and I was left responsible for repairs without additional pet fees being collected. There were also financial concerns. The rent increase never took place, I had to ask for it to be increased due to all of my expenses for the home going up. Additionally, despite the home being recently remodeled inside and out prior to tenancy, I continued to see charges for what I considered unnecessary repairs. I frequently had billing questions and accounting that didn't add up or make sense. Communication was another major issue. I was initially told by the business owner, Carrie, that neighbors would be provided with contact information in case of issues, but according to my neighbor, that never happened. I ultimately had to provide the neighbor with CPM's contact information myself so they could report the dog concerns directly. Working with the office staff was frustrating. It was often difficult to reach the assigned property management contact Susan Correa, and most of the time she did not have answers to my concerns. Eventually, I began emailing Carrie directly because I was unable to get clear answers. When I informed her that I intended to terminate services, I did not receive a response. Overall, I felt unsupported as a homeowner and dissatisfied with the service and communication. They do not care about your property, you have to advocate on your own! Based on my experience, I would highly suggest you to not pay this company for the WORST service!

If anyone is looking to purchase 400 Sonoma Ave. in seaside please be aware that this company did not even bother to get rid of the mice! This company disgusts me. Not once did I ever receive a call back or any communication from them in any way. They have zero cares for people. Also, the gas line in the kitchen and fan for the oven I believe are illegal and not up to code however they had zero problems renting it to the elderly. In response to the owners reply. The rent was $500 when you guys "took over the portfolio". You guys jacked the price up so high in such a short amount of time that it is absolutely in no way a reasonable price. If you deem it unrentable then no one should be paying $1,950 for it. That's absurd. I called a total of 5 times in the span of a month and left a voicemail every single time. I was never even once able to reach a live person. So check your messages and you will have all the record you need. You guys were 100% aware of the condition of the home. Not only did you demand tons of photos of the inside and outside of the home every 6ish Months but you also did several walk throughs inside and outside. Each time you guys deemed it rentable. That is not looking out for senior citizens that is abusing their inability to fend for themselves. Your company should be ashamed of themselves as well as the owner of this property.

Myself and another resident have experienced poor communication, incorrect fees, and management entering the residence unannounced. Below, I have detailed those experiences: Initial Apartment Viewing: When the initial apartment viewing was scheduled, we had arrived to the apartment complex and no representative had shown up from 36 North Property Management. We had not received any communication until later in the day when we were contacted with by a representative via email that they had accidentally missed our appointment and had to reschedule our viewing. We do have the email proof of this as well. Scheduling: For inspections, we were never provided an exact time. We were only provided time ranges that that might show up at. For future residents, this is important to keep in mind that you may have a difficult time planning around work or other daily tasks. Deposit: We were informed of a specific price for the deposit and, when dropping this off, were informed that we were short and that they would add this onto our first payment. This was incorrect and an error on the 36 North Property Management's end and we do have email proof of requesting verification with no response. Check out: $900 was deducted from the deposit citing charges for "Shower glass, shower head, shower walls, toilet, bathroom sink, oven, broil cabinet, floors throughout the unit need to be cleaned, including several cabinet drawers and kitchen sink need to be cleaned. Baseboards and walls will need touched up." To an individual reviewing the paperwork, this may look like the apartment was in poor shape following a year of living in the apartment and entering the apartment with prior damage from previous occupants (I have pictures of this available upon request with dates attached). However, I can include the pictures provided by 36 North Property Management that indicates an otherwise clean apartment given the above. Furthermore, the employees that performed our pre-move out inspection ONLY noted the mark on the wall from the couch which had been otherwise touched up following it being brought to the occupants attention. No other recommendations for cleaning were provided at the pre-move out inspection. Lastly, we checked to receive a lock box to drop off our keys and never received one. We had to take time out of work to stop by the physical office to drop off the keys. Annual Inspection: In regard to the annual inspection that took place during our residence, we were provided a notice on our door stating the 15th. However, they did not present to the apartment on this date. Employees presented to our apartment unannounced on the 25th for an inspection. If the other resident was not present in the apartment at the time of the inspection, we would have not known they had entered the premises unannounced

I initially reached out to Peter because he was the only real estate agent who had successfully sold homes in The Dunes this year, and it was clear he understood the market better than anyone else. After working with him, I can see why. What really stood out was his pricing strategy. There was an identical home with the same floor plan just two doors down that had been sitting on the market for weeks, but Peter positioned my home differently and created immediate demand. He made sure the property showed at its absolute best by coordinating professional window cleaning, staging, and high-end marketing, including HD photography and drone footage. Within just a few hours of the home hitting the market, Peter personally showed the property to a buyer whose agent couldn't make it--and those ended up being the buyers who purchased the home. I had to leave the state during the process, and Peter handled everything. He managed the entire listing, communication, and logistics so I didn't have to worry about anything. He also provided a clear electronic timeline for the pre-listing and escrow process, along with consistent updates, so I always knew exactly where things stood. When it came time to close, we needed to complete a remote online notary, and Peter's escrow team handled it seamlessly without any delays. He was extremely proactive with city requirements as well. He identified issues early and personally took care of them, including moving a pergola and shed to meet City of Marina requirements so there were no problems for the buyer during escrow. Peter is a real estate agent on the Monterey Peninsula who knows how to price, prepare, and position a home to sell quickly and efficiently. If you're selling a home in Marina--especially in The Dunes--you want him representing you.

The BEST Realtor on the Monterey Peninsula is Peter Boggs!…read more Buying a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions you'll ever make. Choosing the right Realtor made all the difference for us. After working with Peter Boggs, my husband and I understand why he is consistently one of the highest-rated Realtors on the Monterey Peninsula. One of the easiest individuals to communicate with, it oftentimes felt as if we were talking with a knowledgeable, trusted friend in Peter. He guided us through every step of the process with honesty, professionalism, and genuine care. From the moment our offer was accepted until the day we received the keys, Peter orchestrated one of the smoothest, fastest, and most seamless escrows we could have imagined. We closed in just 14 days on a turnkey home in one of the Monterey Peninsula's most sought-after neighborhoods. That doesn't happen by accident. It happened because of Peter's local experience and presence, close working relationships, attention to detail, and transparent and clear communication. Like some buyers today, we thought we could do most of the legwork ourselves. We searched every real estate website daily, perused Reddit, explored neighborhoods, and toured open houses whenever we visited Monterey. What we quickly learned is that technology can help you find listings--but it cannot replace an exceptional Realtor. Because we resided out of town, Peter became our trusted eyes and ears. He toured homes for us, sent detailed videos and photos, answered countless questions, and gave us candid objective feedback. He met with home inspectors, contractors, engineers, and even potential neighbors on our behalf. He never tried to hurry or pressure us to buy a house; instead, he helped us determine whether each property was truly the right fit for our lifestyle and long-term goals. One of Peter's greatest strengths is his ability to educate his clients. He taught us to look beyond beautiful staging and fresh paint. We learned about coastal construction, deferred maintenance, moisture intrusion, salt-air exposure, inspections, resale value, future repair costs, and, most importantly, the overall quality--or "bones"--of each home. That knowledge saved us from making an expensive mistake. We fell in love with one home that appeared perfect, but Peter identified years of deferred maintenance. Walking away was difficult, but looking back, it was absolutely the right decision. Instead of settling, Peter encouraged us to stay patient and trust the process. He often reminded us: "There is a home for every buyer." He was right. Not long afterward, we found the home we were truly meant to own. Looking back, Peter didn't just help us buy a house. He helped us build the life we had imagined. And if finding the perfect home wasn't enough, Peter gifted us with the most beautiful housewarming surprise. He gave us a hand-painted portrait of our home by local Monterey artist Stacey Gregory, along with a top-shelf bottle of nice champagne and other thoughtful gifts. Every time we see that custom painting hanging in our home, we are reminded of our new life and the person who made it possible. If you are searching for someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, trustworthy, well connected, and genuinely committed to his clients, we recommend Peter Boggs without hesitation. His extremely personable and likable style makes the inherently stressful home buying experience unbelievably memorable. He truly believes there is a home for every buyer. Thanks to Peter Boggs, we found ours. We will always be grateful!
