He just happened to have one on his truck and went ahead and installed a manual lock to my existing garage door, free of charge. We had an old Liftmaster (Chamberlain) door opener. It was flaky, hard to reproduce the problems (stopping suddenly when opening or closing at widely irregular intervals - each time had to manually close or open it). Trevor came out, spent over an hr checking it, testing it, etc. - no problems (of course). He was about to leave without charging me (told me to call him if things got more frequent), when it happened to him opening the door to leave. We talked about it - could be one of two boards, no way to tell for sure - one cheap, one expensive. So I opted to change the cheap one. He left without charging me and said he'd have to order the part. Said he would came back next week. Which he did - changed it, seemed to work. His bill was very fair, considering he had paid for the part AND come out twice to work on it. However, it became evident that the problem was not fixed. He had warned me that the other part (the opener motherboard) had become very expensive (like the chip issues we read about). I opted to replace the entire opener since it was so old. He did a great job, and then credited me the labor on the previous attempt without me asking. Very happy with the work, the opener, and the service from Trevor! read more

I called Trevor Monday morning for an estimate to remove the two extension springs and replace them with one torsion spring for one of the garage doors for my rental property. He knew exactly what needed to be done and he quoted me a ballpark estimate over the phone. He came out the same day in the afternoon to do a visual inspection and to provided a firm quote, which was lower than his ballpark quote over the phone. I find him to be very honest, pleasant, and cordial, and his quote was very reasonable. He is also a good communicator and conducted himself very professionally. I could tell that providing the best customer-service is high on his list of values. Trevor was able to schedule this job for the next day (Tuesday afternoon). On each of the days, he would call/text me to give me a heads-up on his estimated time of arrival. He was very prompt. I am very pleased with his work in installing the torsion tube, spring, rollers, and cables. This young man knows his stuff and seems very organized. He completed the job very smoothly without a hitch. And, Trevor made sure that the spring was tighten/adjusted so that the door was balanced. I also asked him whether the torsion spring on the 2nd garage door needed adjustment because I had noticed previously that the door did not hold up at the half-way point which I believe was causing a strain on the motor of the electric door opener. He was kind enough to adjust the torsion spring for the 2nd garage door without charging me.
