I was having issues with my garage opener and Trevor came by the very next morning to help me inspect it. He quoted me a much lower price to replace it than another person I usually use, and didn't try to upsell me or force a sale. I appreciate his honesty and timeliness read more

Trevor was great! He explained possible solutions by phone and obviously wasn't trying to make a quick buck. I couldn't solve the issue with my door and he came over and fixed it at no charge. He is very knowledgeable. I would definitely use him again and will recommend him to others. read more

We used Peninsula Garage Doors for our garage door opener last week. Trevor was awesome, quick response and installed by the end of the day. Gotta love YELP! Awesome resource over dealing with a large company. Go with Trevor and you won't be disappointed. read more

Trevor responded quickly and offered reasonable options. He was personable and professional. So efficient and clean in his work. He spent time with instructions. So happy we found him. Highly recommended! read more

Prompt response. Quick and professional service. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended. I sent a yelp request to Peninsula Garage Doors for repairing a broken spring of my garage door. Trevor responded to my request within a few minutes and came to my house in 30 minutes. He explained the cause to me clearly and provided a very reasonable quote. It was 5pm so I thought we'd set up a time the next day to do the work but Trevor finished the whole project within the next 30 minutes, including inspecting my other garage doors. Now my garage door is back to smooth operations again. I'd definitely recommend Trevor for anyone who needs help with their garage doors. read more

Peninsula Garage Doors replaced the garage door opener at my Mom's house a few months ago. Trevor was on time and so professional. He completed the job quickly and seamlessly. We are so pleased with the work done! read more

I had a horrible experience with getting garage door repair quotes from around the peninsula. I got a handful of "I need to see the garage in person to give a quote" and then they will try to make you feel bad for their drive out there if you don't accept their absolutely ridiculous cost for the repair. What a waste of a couple hours. When Trevor responded, he asked me to send pictures of my garage door and gave me a detailed quote over text. His total price for materials AND labor was a fraction of the cost for LABOR ALONE of our highest quote which was from an incredibly pushy guy who left us with an unsettling feeling in addition to a garage that reeked of cologne. I was so incredibly glad I found an honest guy like Trevor that day. If you meet him, you will see he is just an all around good person, which is seemingly harder to find nowadays. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Trevor was responsive, prompt, and fixed our issue quickly and efficiently. He was concerned about doing it right and took the time to make sure that everything worked before leaving. Bonus: he is just an all-around nice guy who is 100% trustworthy. Highly recommended! read more

We recently moved into a house that needed a new garage motor. I had remembered Trevor and Peninsula Garage Door Repair from a year or so ago when they worked on the house I was renting, so I reached out! On our first call, I explained the issue I was having and Trevor offered some troubleshooting steps over the phone and then agreed to stop by to take a look. Their assessment was that there could be a quick fix that I could do myself, but would gladly quote us on a new motor, door etc. We decided to go and replace the door and motor since both were old and Trevor got back to me quickly with a solid quote. With in the week of signing the contract Trevor was out at our house and installed the new motor and door in a day. He went over the system, warranty, and said to reach out to him with any issues. Trevor was super personable and approachable. No question was a dumb question and Trevor made sure to be thorough with his answers and explanations. Will gladly work with Peninsula Garage Door Repair in the future! read more

We have used Peninsula Garage Doors several times in the past for our properties and we are extremely pleased with the work provided by Trevor. In February of this year, he replaced a broken spring. He responded to our call almost immediately so that our tenant was not inconvenienced. The garage door worked fine until recently (6 months after the replacement). I noticed that the garage door wasn't going up as high as before. Trevor came out to inspect the door and he adjusted the tightness of the spring. The garage door is now working fine again. After doing the repair, he noticed that one of the roller wheels was wobbly and was probably near the end of its life. He promptly replaced the roller wheel. He did not charge for this service call nor did he charge us for the new roller wheel that was installed. This shows that Trevor stands behind his work and isn't someone who is out to make a quick buck. Thank you Trevor! read more

Trevor is amazing. Knowledgable, patient, competent, honest, fast ... don't take your business anywhere else. Seriously, there's a reason for all the five star reviews, and it's because he's pretty much the ideal service provider. read more

Very high quality work and very reasonable rates. Travis is a rare gem, setting a wonderful example of how all businesses should treat their customers. The garage door that was squeaky and embarrassingly loud is working well months later. read more

Trevor is awesome! My garage door spring broke, and when I called, he responded immediately. It was very easy to set up an appointment. He said he would arrive within 1.5 hours and actually showed up ahead of schedule. He fixed the problem in about an hour, explained everything clearly, and even helped identify a few other minor issues. His pricing was very reasonable, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing garage door repair. read more

Responsive after our garage door spring broke. Start to finish lighting fast. So good that multiple neighbors have used the same company with the same great service. Will call him anytime we need a garage anything. He also went above and beyond what we asked for. Pricing was great. It's great to find a personable service provider who doesn't rip you off because of your zip code. So rare. read more

I had a broken garage door that I feared was hopeless. It was a cake-walk for Trevor, who came out promptly on my schedule and fixed it in about an hour at a great price. He even helped me find parts for a few DIY things I wanted to do. Highly recommended! read more

I can't say enough great things about Trevor and Chris from Peninsula Garage Door Repair! I originally called around to get quotes for changing my existing garage door opener (traditional) to a wall-mount, side mounted garage door opener that so many newer homes come with. I received pretty similar quotes across the board, but Trevor immediately offered to come by and measure and ensure that my garage indeed can fit a wall mount side mounted unit since there are some height and space restrictions. After they came by to assess my garage (within like 30 min??) Trevor also shared with me a few options based on the age of some parts of my door. It turns out that I would need a longer rod, and while I'm at it, I should get some newer springs since my whole set up is very old, and springs are only rated for 10 years. The work they do would require them to take off the springs anyway. While I mulled over this (it's always great to know more than less), it turns out I would have to re-spend the whole amount of springs/rod to get a new garage door anyway, so I ended up going that route. Trevor made it super easy, and somehow the garage door of my dreams (I know is that even a thing??) was available basically immediately. I was scheduled for a complete overhaul and Trevor and Chris came by at the agreed upon time and made quick work of everything. This sounds WILD, but I have not been this happy about a house mod in a very, long. time. I LOVE the new modern door with the modern flat panels, and to be honest if it wasn't for Trevor I don't think I would have pulled the trigger so quickly. The side mount fit perfectly, and everything looks incredibly clean and modern. I'm definitely a huge fan, and will be recommending Trevor & Peninsula Garage Door to anyone needing a new door or a repair! read more

Needed a garage door repair after a broken garage door spring and frayed side cables. I found Trevor on Yelp and after comparing quotes and reviews, I felt most comfortable moving forward with him. Our garage spring broke and Trevor was very responsive and came out a few hours after I called. He helped open up our garage to let us get our car out so we weren't stuck. We had wanted to replace our old opener anyways so he came again later once he had all the parts and replaced both the broken spring and the old opener. And even a few weeks later after we got a keypad, he swung by and installed that as well. Trevor's very friendly, honest, and has very reasonable prices. Highly recommend! read more

I can see why this business has so many 5-star reviews. My old garage door opener died in a very dramatic fashion--in a puff of smoke. Okay, no need to try to repair this 30-year old sucker, it is officially dead. The day after I contacted three companies to get a quote to get a new one installed. Trevor was very responsive to my inquiry on Yelp, responding within an hour. After getting the three quotes, he was also the least expensive by several hundred dollars. I decided to go with this company due to: - very reasonable cost - many recent yelp reviews that were all 5-stars - responsiveness - brand (I wanted a Chamberlain brand as they got great reviews online) Trevor was able to come by the next day and install it. He showed up right on time (even texted me to let me know when to expect him). He clearly knew what he was doing and was able to remove the old one and install the new one in about 90 minutes. And he gave me good advice on the questions that I had. I highly recommend this business. read more

Trevor had great communication. He gave me a estimated price range for the job over Yelp very quickly. He came out and explained everything very thoroughly, what to watch for, and what I could do myself later. Never tried to upsell me at all. I had him replace my 24 year old springs which had become out of balance. This was very refreshing as another company I contacted would not give an estimate without sending out a technician. And when they came, they gave me a very high quote and when I said no, the price kept dropping. I won't say their name but an honest company should have no trouble giving an estimate. Thank you Trevor. Would 100% recommend you to anyone. read more
