I went to see Dr. Jordan after being referred to her by my dentist, for the possibility of a root canal procedure. Her receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained that Dr. Jordan would perform an exam to see if the procedure was warranted. Then her assistant greeted me in the lobby and escorted me to a room. The assistant asked me to describe any pain I was experiencing, and took a detailed account of events leading up to my visit today; when the pain began, if I was taking any medications to alleviate the pain, how I was feeling at this moment. Dr. Jordan came in, reviewed her assistant's notes, and performed a few test to see if the root canal was necessary. Once it was determined the procedure was called for, she took the time to explain the steps involved and how long the procedure would take. Being somewhat anxious, I related to her that my "pain-threshold" was non-existent. She assured me my comfort was her number one priority. Throughout the procedure, which lasted approximately 60 minutes, both the Doctor and her assistant repeatedly asked if I was comfortable, which I was. I found Dr. Jordan and her staff to be extremely competent and caring, especially about patient mental and physical well being. I highly recommend Dr. Jordan for any endodontic procedure. read more
