As we started to get to know people in the neighborhood we started getting treated differently. We got accused of having parties and people in our apartment til 3 or 4am. Which was completely false. We have a 5year old daughter there's no way that's happening. We tried to explain our side to the owner but he didn't care to listen to us or even investigate the complaint. The owner told my wife to tell me not to hangout with the neighbor because they were "bad people". My family was on eggshells in that apartment. We spent as much time away from home as possible because it was so uncomfortable. During our second month there we were hanging out with one of the tenants in the complex having a couple drinks thinking everything is ok. The next day the owner calls my wife and tells her we have to move out because we had a party. Mind you nobody was in our apartment that night we were hanging out with one of the other tenants. He accused us of being in a gang and said the police had been there a couple times for noise complaints. All of which was completely false. So we packed up and moved. Then the owner took almost 3 whole weeks after we moved out to walk thru the apartment assess any damages to give us our deposit back. Never in my life have I dealt with that much of an unprofessional landlord. As for the apartment itself, it was decent. Stove was outdated and there was an ant problem the first month that we handled ourselves because it'd take to long for them to get someone to handle it.

Office staff does not respond to phone calls. BS rules are NOT enforced. College kids live here and they party all the time and speed through parking lots. My teenage son told a woman to put her dog on a leash and she yelled expletives at him. The sooner I get out of here, the better. There are far cheaper alternatives in Pendleton when you factor in quality of living. Find them. This dump should be a last resort.

They mischarged us on our account for the first three months we lived there. The real kicker is that they don't return your deposit. I moved out in mid-July and it has been 56 days since and I have not received a single email, final accounting, or a check. When I call to follow-up, local management tells me that "corporate" is going to cut a check. However they will not provide me contact information to follow-up with corporate. The lack of transparency and communication is horrific. I am currently out $899. My husband and I were excellent tenants and left the property clean, with no damages. The headache of working with the staff here is exhausting. I tried to go leave a google review, however due to recent poor reviews there it appears that the management has "permanently closed" the business so you can't leave a review - this is the type of stuff I'm talking about.
