Nice greens for mid-November. Kudos to the staff that does a great job here. Nice to play 18 holes in mid-November. This course plays extremly well. It has a widen open feel with little water but lots of challenge negotiating the strategically placed bunkers. Designed by Thomas Walker of Gary Player Design. I really like that hey have five different tee areas; something for every player. I will look forward to playing there again. After 1pm, $48 for 18 holes includes cart

Beautiful golf course! Also lots of new construction-single family homes being built. Great community and better place to live. Schedule a tee-time or disk golf time and enjoy the amazing course.

I was told by…read moreJenelle Lavarine, Director of Sales and Marketing, that the venue fee was $1,600, and I took her at her word. Later, Katie Simpson accidentally sent me the January 2026 Catering Guide, which listed the venue fee as $950. Since I signed my contract in January 2026, I asked why my pricing did not match the guide. I was then told that I was paying more because my event was classified as a quinceañera. When I asked to see documentation reflecting that pricing structure, I was sent a "quinceañera guide" that appeared to have been created the same day. It did not match the formatting or structure of the previously sent catering guide and did not include the room rate for the Harbor Club, which is the room I reserved. It listed the larger ballroom, The Cove, at $2,000 for private events held Sunday-Thursday, yet my event was scheduled for a Saturday. There were multiple inconsistencies. When I questioned the discrepancies regarding the date and pricing, I was then told I may have received "special pricing" because my event was a Sweet 16 and not a quinceañera, which contradicted the earlier explanation that I was paying more specifically because it was being treated as a quinceañera. Due to these inconsistencies and the lack of clear, transparent pricing, I chose to cancel my reservation. Unfortunately, I will lose my $1,000 deposit that I paid on January 21st. While losing that money is painful, I ultimately decided peace of mind was more important than continuing to invest additional funds with a company I no longer felt confident in.

This is one of the nicest semi private courses in a 20 miles radius of downtown Richmond. Tee boxes are great, stripped fairways, what seems to be anti divot greens which have been pristine at my last two outings. The course has some great elevation change through out it. Which makes it challenging, but it's not that bad. Pro shop is super nice, and the service has always been excellent. Today they had a range officer cruising the course making sure pace of play was good. Nice fellow named Henry. Range officer wasn't there the first time I played, but didn't matter. Drink cart came around at least 4 times. There wasn't a drink cart making the rounds last time we went though. There's a grass range, a huge putting green, and a chipping green all in the same area. Their carts are a little slow. That's my only single complaint, but I don't blame them. There's some steep hills around the course and I could see how a fast cart might cause problems. Definitely returning customer.

This is my third time playing a round of golf. I played…read more9-holes and to warm up hit the range and putting area. The Range was emblematic of the entire course. The option to tee off the grass was closed and too the mats I went. They mats looked like they saw better days(like the greens). The one I used was faded out and wrinkled as opposed to flat, which I said to self, it's like playing in real conditions where there are bumps and such. The distance markers according to their legend were supposed to be colored coded but they weren't. The range balls were dirty and the range was full of previously hit balls. It looked like they are still recovering from COVID as if they were closed and just reopened. As you can tell in the pic the greens are leas than ideal. About 6/9 greens looked this bad or worse. Their practice putting area is much worse. The bright spot was I saw a hawk or falcon in its natural habitat foraging for food. That was cool. The staff was ok, not spectacular. The club house has a old feel-vibe. In short, Lee's Hill looked like they gave up on improving it before COVID or the late 90's.

The rakes are a novelty because there is zero sand in the bunker. They might as well start mowing their bunkers because the weeds growing from them are taller than your pitching wedge. There is zero golf etiquette, groups in front play incredibly slow 20 minutes a hole. Groups behind play best ball from the front tee box. As a local of over 20 years playing here for the first time, this will certainly be my last. Stick with Northern VA, central VA. If you're local just go to Fredericksburg Country Club. Do not waste your time. $81 per 18 holes is a complete joke. Coming from $38-$42 pre-11AM tee time 18 hole courses in Sonoma California there is clearly a discrepancy and lack of knowledge in maintaining a golf course. If you have enough land, just mow your yard and play there. Absolutely bypass this pathetic course.

I had an incident with Kathy Ballard this evening while dining at the Tavern ( restaurant on site). My niece was playing on the putting green which is located adjacent to the outdoor dining area. Several children frequently play in this area while their parents dine. Tonight Kathy came down from the pro shop to tell my niece's mother that her child could not play in the area because " the Fluvanna HS Homecoming kids being on site and ruining the area with their high heels" WTF does this have do do with a 4 year old playing? Kathy made no sense and she clearly took her anger out on an innocent 4 year old black kid. Yesterday I was at the same location and a white family had 3 children playing on the same putting green, doing cartwheels on greens. No one came to say anything to these children. I sat there for over 2 hours and watched these kids do whatever they wanted. Spring Creek Golf Club has NO diversity and they make it known that they so not welcome minorities.

While the course itself is in great condition, it was completely overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional behavior we encountered. We were on the 6th hole when a staff member came up to us and rudely accused us of taking too long. Excuse me? We paid for a full 18-hole round, and yet we were harassed mid-play as if we were doing something wrong. For reference, we were keeping a normal pace of play--absolutely no delays. This level of hostility from the staff is completely unacceptable. It was so bad that we left after the 9th hole because we couldn't tolerate their attitude any longer. We essentially wasted money on a full round that we didn't even finish because of how poorly we were treated. It's beyond frustrating to pay good money to play golf only to be harassed and disrespected. If you're considering this course, don't. Take your money elsewhere to a course where they actually value their customers. This place doesn't deserve your time or money. I would NEVER recommend this course to anyone, especially not fellow service members. Absolutely disgraceful.
