In the very back, they have an extended area of art along with a limited but healthy selection of plants - today, I spotted a rare albo type. And of course, lots of Colorado-themed pieces, our favourite! The owner, Lauren, was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the artists she supports in her store, with fun anecdotes about the artists themselves or how pieces were developed. My favourites were block prints by an artist named Jini Kimchi and sculptures made from home-grown cordyceps spores (I forget the artist's name but will add here later). It's awesome that this store makes art so accessible, and what a great go-to for gifts!

One time I purchased a 50$ gift card and was told that even if I lost the flimsy little paper the credit is written on, my name is on the system and it can be looked up. They know exactly what they are doing. If a spiritual store is worried about people stealing or whatever then they you are NOT the real deal and it is a reflection of who they are and what they are actually doing. If you are alarmed or uncomfortable by a women of color coming into your shop while your shop is named Goddess/Isis you should NOT be in business! This place is not sacred or safe. I had always seen the one on University which recently moved to Gaylord (if I'm not mistaken); this Hampden location appears to be the newest addition. Selection was great and wide range. I have to admit; some items are a bit pricey (I saw a cheese knife that was so good-looking but it was almost $40!! Ouch ) I took the time to look around though because I wanted to find something nice to buy. What I ended up buying was a book about cheese. I spotted a few books about wine but since I already know so much about wine I just opted for the cheese book only. And it was only $9! Service was good and friendly. I loved it and wore it daily, until I realized I had lost it. I was heartbroken about the necklace, and further that it reminded me of the loss of my beloved stepmom who had passed away a few years ago. I searched for a replacement, but didn't come across anything I liked. It occurred to me that perhaps if I reached out to Tulip, where my stepmom purchased the gift, there might be something similar, or at least something that I would like. I live in Los Angeles and had never been in this Denver gem, but I had received other gifts from Tulip, and I knew how much my stepmom loved their selection of unique items. She had GREAT taste. I got in touch with Sharon Richards, the owner who I learned had bought the shop two and a half years earlier. I was concerned that with new ownership, she may not carry the same items. It was a stretch anyway after seven years. Sharon said that Tulip still works with that artist and she proceeded to send me a photo of two similar Tree of Life pendants. I was thrilled, but was a bit disappointed as they were oval shaped instead of round. Sharon said she would reach out to the artist to see if she might have a round pendant. She did ... one round pendant was left!! Sharon coordinated with the artist and sent the necklace, which I received today! I LOVE it, and I am so appreciative that Sharon worked hard to try to find what I had cherished. At that point, while I was concerned about the cost, I was prepared to spend whatever it took. I was so relieved when I learned that it was within my grasp. I can't wait for my next trip to Denver when I can visit the store myself.
