Absolutely NOT! AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE…read more In short, this guy is a QUACK. Sadly it took me several years before I found out. His office had me convinced I had cancer; when there was nothing wrong with me. In this day and age it is just not worth it, this is a sensitive subject you want a good doctor not a bad one. Don't waste your time, money, energy. Details if you want them, In 2004...I had been a patient for 3 years prior. After 1 questionable test result the Dr. disregarded facts about me and my history; predetermined the out come based on regional statistics (one of those facts he disregarded is that I lived in the region on paper only). He preformed one procedure and wanted to perform several more evasive procedures because "insurance allows it and it can't hurt" - his words not mine. When I questioned the course of action he was prescribing he responded with by trying to manipulate me into doing what he thought was best included making out of line character references and judgments about my family. IN tears he left me then came back and handed me a tissue and told me he only wanted "the best for" me. With in a month of this last meeting with Dr Strider I had 4 different & costly professional opinions which did not include evasive surgery like the kind Dr Strider had been pushing for and as it turned out there was nothing wrong with me. NOTHING. It has been 5 years and there is nothing wrong with me.

My podiatrist does surgeries from this hospital so I had no choice but to come here. My treatment began back in September and has been ongoing up until now and I've had nothing but a good experience from the nurses to the lab techs to the food team to the environmental team. Everyone is polite and come with wonderful bedside manner. I think in all my emergency situations, thus will be my hospital of choice!

Blood work was done and EKG and I was left sitting in the waiting room. Pain level was at a eight. After seeing people called with bruise foot, sore throat, etc. before me with chest pain and shortness of breath. Never again!

Then he comes back to the exam room by this time I'm frustrated and tired of waiting for him, I stated I was unhappy at how this appointment was being handled and was leaving he then started using foul language (the fu@@) word more than 3 times to tell me how I could go see someone else but there was no one as good as him and how my previous doctor was crap and the name of his practice was stupid, I am completely appalled by his lack of professionalism he didn't know anything about me or my case so for him to treat anyone with this behavior is totally unacceptable I have never experienced this in my life, I left there a total wreck! I have worked as a registered nurse in many facilities I have never encountered a medical professional like this. I will not ever return to him or this practice! Even if he was having a bad day which is possible it was not appropriate allow it to interfere with his job if that were the case maybe a day off would have been appropriate!!

After years of misdiagnoses, I finally found out that I have Spinal Stenosis and Facet problems in my neck. Dr. Cherrick sat down with me, asked me several questions, looked over the tests other doctors had sent and then ordered an MRI and CT. We then had a follow-up appointment and he explained my condition and he suggested the epidurals and other pain management. As a result, I had a course of 3 epidurals which have turned my life around: I was unable, for two years, to work as a professional tour guide - and I mean totally unable to function, in general, without excruciating pain. (I thought I was destined for a wheelchair.) Dr. Cherrick is personable, professional, efficient, and effective. Dr. Mahboobi was very calming and put me at ease for the first of my epidurals, which, amazingly, didn't hurt. I was given Dr. Cherricks personal email if I had any further problems. I shall be taking care of my neck, soon. The staff is also delightful and totally professional. I highly recommend them at the Shirlington office in Arlington Virginia.

Unfortunately, I realized a few chiropractic practices are very business oriented and pushy, rather than focusing on treatment. My brother then referred me to Dr. Afzaly. He spoke very highly of him. I had my first visit and consultation with him recently and I have already felt a world of a difference. He was incredibly attentive and thorough during my consultation and treatment. He treated my neck for about 30 minutes with specific methods and devices in addition to adjusting me. If you are looking for a humble, honest, treatment focused, and effective practice, do yourself a favor and visit Little River Chiropractic. I will be continuing my treatment with Dr. Afzaly.

From the very beginning Dr. Afzaly was very attentive and made sure I was very comfortable and was very helpful and knowledgeable. The healing process was not easy but he was very patient every time. I definitely 100% recommend him and his office! The front desk girls have always been very welcoming and super sweet! I will always be so grateful for everything he's done and so thankful for being such a genuine person overall.
