Great experience with lovely people. We called from out of town to order a lei for a college graduation. Although on the expensive side, the lei was just beautiful. And we had a great experience picking it up and talking with the lovely woman who helped us. read more

Losing a loved one is never easy, but Pemberton did an outstanding job in ensuring that our loved one's funeral looked outstanding. The flowers were meticulously assembled, delivered on time, and were unique arrangements all throughout. The quality was excellent and the prices right on par with what we expected. The team at Pemberton are the real MVPs; they managed to handle multiple orders and get them all ready for delivery in a super short amount of time. There are other florists in town that were contacted, but only Pemberton had the flexibility to take care of a number of orders, get the messages noted, and ready for distribution. One doesn't have to be in the Salem vicinity to utilize their services, as most of us had reached out to them online and through the phone. For all floral needs in the area, I'd consider using them again and again. At the end of the day, they were a real pleasure to work with. read more

We recently had a sudden and unexpected death in our family. I was assigned the task of ordering the family arrangement and in all the commotion, I forgot! When I remembered, 1 business hour before closing - the day before the 11am internment, I was horrified. I called Pemberton's in a panic and asked for something very specific...a "bleeding heart" the traditional arrangement my family always sends. And I specifically DIDN'T want it to look like a Valentines Day box of chocolates with ruffles on the edge. I was praying....The employee was kind and helpful. She listened carefully to my very specific instructions. They didn't have the background flower I always used - so suggested a substitute. It turned out even better than I could have imagined. I wouldn't go anywhere else for your arrangements. These people are amazing. Thank you Pemberton's. read more

My cousin sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday this year. They came from Pemberton's. I have never had a more lovely arrangement. It's been a week and it still looks as fresh and beautiful as it did the day it was delivered. I would recommend them every time. They really get the job done and with pizzazz! read more

My husband went to Pemberton's on my recommendation to purchase anniversary flowers as I have liked their arrangements in the past. We were extremely disappointed in the arrangement. The center flower was a green hydrangea with a clump of spray roses behind the hydrangea, greenery and a few flocks. In my opinion the colors clashed and it looked thrown together. He was charged $70 for an arrangement I didn't keep. The arrangements my husband has purchased from grocery stores have been nicer. I didn't include a photo because I took the arrangement apart, bought my own flowers and put it back together. read more

I have purchased several times over the years and have been very happy. Purchased a table topper for the thanksgiving table and it only lasted 3 days before the flowers started to die. Rey disappointed on this purchase! read more

What a great experience! From beginning to end, the staff here listened, made thoughtful suggestions. Since I was transporting the flowers to a different state and my daughter picked colors that don't naturally exist in nature we went with silk. The finished product was absolutely stunning. I also had the dad and mom flowers done as well. We received absolute beautiful flowers for a good price. I will happily use them again read more

I won't lie. My past experience with ordering flowers on line-not good. However, Pembertons helped relieve my mind 100% as I had a tricky order for an important complicated funeral need. The absolute BEST EXPERIENCE EVER with a florist!!! From the very first call yesterday to the excellent communication with designer Debra who was exceptional at offering creative options that were perfect for what I was looking to accomplish in purchasing a birthday gift. I found Pemberton's on Yelp and YES, I get why so many people are raving. I just got off the phone with Patty; I put the poor woman through the ringer and took like 15 minutes to get my order in. She was so incredibly helpful, friendly and you can tell she really cares about the orders she gets. After finally almost letting the poor woman off the phone I asked her if there was a supervisor or manager I could sing her praises to and she mentioned that it's a family business, so not really. I don't do a lot of Yelp reviews but- she was so informative, empathetic (ahem- was very friendly when I managed not to have the delivery address available) and overall pleasant. I highly, highly recommend. read more

My team turned to me to send a condolence to a co-worker who suddenly lost a family member. Knowing the etiquette of sending grief items same day if you can, I acted quickly and did a search of possible florists in Salem. So from my home office in Portland, I found a florist close to my teammates Salem address. I just took a chance by calling Pemberton's. Before I phoned I looked at their website. It had a great layout and easy to navigate. Instead of ordering on-line, I called in - Kate helped me and she was pretty efficient. She took great care in handling the inscription on the card. Even though it was a sad occasion, they were nice to work with. They were able to deliver a touching arrangement same day. I did use their website as a guide and they used a few different flowers that were in stock. I later phoned back to see if they could change the spelling of a name - Unfortunately, they'd already left to deliver the flowers, but at least they took my call. I have never been here, just a phone order, but it went well and they delivered same day (I phoned around 12pm and it got their before 4pm). Kind feedback on the delivery. Also, the name Pemberton seemed trustyworthy or family owned. It reminded me of a Hallmark Channel Movie. read more

The reviews are spot on with the care & customer service. First time order for me & I would recommend. I had to call in from overseas & they had no problem turning around a same day order quickly over the phone. When my recipient wasn't home to receive they VERY patiently waited for me to find a back up option to ensure a safe delivery. I sincerely appreciate your support & understanding. The flowers were gorgeous too & I found out later that several of my family members order from you so my instincts served me well. Keep up the great work! Thank you read more

A good florist is about trust Pemberton's is just one of those businesses that represents the best about Salem. They always have time to help you, their prices are fair and their quality of arrangements (both the flower freshness and the beautiful arranging) is very high. Here is the beautiful arrangement they sent on my behalf today. I just added tulips to a dozen red roses and, voila, I'm a hero. read more

Excellent customer service, quick delivery, excellent quality. I'm not in the area so finding them was a blessing. Would recommend.

Ordered these flowers to be delivered to my sister at work. Not only were they delivered late, the bouquet was sparse and frankly ugly. The two stars is because the customer service was very friendly and helpful.. However the end result was nothing close to what we had discussed or expected. Absolutely not worth $50. Very disappointed Update**** Called and spoke with the owner. She was SO NICE. She listened and really truly made it more than right. She was very kind, courteous and compensated us in a way that made us feel very good about the experience. We know feel very positive about this business. This a true sign of someone who cares about their customers. read more

I am really happy with the service from Pemberton's. Ordered a bouquet online and had it sent to my girlfriends apartment. The kicker is she was moving to Oregon and wasn't even in the state yet. I wrote the time she was suppose to get there and mentioned the flowers may need to be left outside her door. Even though she arrived a little later then I said, the delivery women either timed it perfect or waited for her to arrive. My gf told me when she got there the delivery person was also there to meet her with bouquet. Absolutely wonderful service and I hear the flowers were gorgeous and smelled fantastic. Good work! read more

The team at Pemberton's went above and beyond. My mother was suddenly flown to the Salem hospital for emergency surgery the Friday before Mother's Day. We wanted to send her flowers, but all the florists in Salem were not taking new orders, despite my pleas. I explained the situation, and Pemberton team was able to squeeze in an pre-made floral engagement and get it delivered to Mom in the hospital. I was so appreciative. That's customer service. Going above and beyond when it is more convenient not to. They helped bring a smile to my mom, and to our family. read more

I love having a florist, that I completely trust, in my back pocket! I have used Pemberton's for a number of different occasions and each time they surpass my expectations! I ordered flowers for Valentine's day for my wife which is also our anniversary. I chose this shop because it is only 1.4 miles from where she works(4 minutes by google maps). I specifically typed in the special instructions that the flowers had to be delivered before 3:30 because that is what time she leaves work. The delivery person did not show up until 3:45 and thwn called to ask where to take them because she was not at work anymore. Ruined the beginning of what was supposed to be a magical weekend. read more
