You know, 1.5 years ago I visited this startup fitness "bike that goes nowhere" store to see what it is all about. I've loved biking since I was years old. It was complete freedom. If my parents knew I would ride hundreds of miles through the city back at that age the whoopins would have been numerous. The love of biking always stayed true through the years. When adulthood took over, the biking became non existent. Absent from my life for a decade plus, when I finally re-entered they had all these bikes that were "clip ins." I get it, to be more efficient, thus more powerful, it was the way to go. Bought a hybrid bike to ride street and mountains but never could adjust to the clip ins as I didn't like being "attached to the bike." I liked having free legs and quick ability to plant my feet on ground if ever the case balance was lost or any unforseen road bumps. Also, why was my butt so sore with these new age bikes? WTH? Then this store in Bellevue Square opened. The bike that goes nowhere. Well the phobia of being clipped in disappeared since I wouldn't be out in the wild. My buddy got it and raved. I waited a year to see if the fad would subside. Nope it didn't. The first thing you see and feel is an attention to detail, the bike itself is smooth, sexy, minimalist, powerful, intelligent. The whole store is a refined, clean, apple/tesla modern appeal which I am fully behind. But DANG $2,000 for a bike that goes nowhere??? Just couldn't justify it, especially since my cherry hybrid bike that goes EVERYWHERE cost only $1,000. More research, couple months go by. Fad not disappearing. Tired of driving to the gym, parking, dealing with mobs of people in stinky, dirty, no hygeine having men locker rooms. January 19, 2019 PELOTON delivered. 2 professional techs arrive in the Benz Van, setup bike in less then hour and the first ride occurs. I chose "The Works" Package, $2800 with tax, delivery fee, shoes, mat, earpods, tiny dumbells, and Heart Rate Monitor. Since the 19th til today February 1, 2019 a ride has occurred everyday. PLUS 2 Yoga Classes and 1 Core Strength class. 16 total workouts in 14 days! Yup, there is a $40/month subscription for the content that has maybe 30 live classes a day, hundreds or thousands of classes on demand, with music ranging from Hip Hop/Country/Pop/Electric Dance/Club Bangers/British Pop/Live DJ/80s/90s/Rock/Latin you name it music with tons of inspiring and entertaining instructors. Do you know how much a spin class costs at Soul Cycle? $30 for one class. Pay $40 and you get unlimited classes with Peloton. Hello? No brainer. And guess what is included? Yoga/Boot Camp/Running/Meditation/Cardio classes too. And that monitor....that monitor that gives you a live view or on demand with the classes, the leaderboard, the stats, the power zones, the social aspect of it all completes the package. For me all the data provided is huge. What instructors seem to get the most out of me? Which one gets me in Power Zone 5 longer? Which one gets more wattage out of me? Which one helps me BURN MORE CALORIES??? Do you love competition? Compete with everyone in the class! Or compare yourself with friends that have done the same class before! Peloton is OFF DA HOOK. Oh and by the way that butt soreness you get from the road bikes doesn't happen here with Peloton. I think their bike seats are some space age material. We purchased a new Pelton Bike plus in 2019. It broke after one month of use. Pelton came out and replaced the defective screen. The Pelton bike broke again. It's taken 3 weeks for service. They are supposed to arrive today between 9a-1p to fix the bike. Pelton no longer does their repair. I paid Pelton $100 for today's appointment and they have a company called Go Configure that is supposed to be here. I called the company and they transferred my repair to another company called Select Express. So far, I have a broken bike, a $100 service charge, and a no show from Select Express. I have called numerous times and keep being transferred. Save your money! Don't buy a Pelton until they figure out how to service existing customers. read more

Received the bike Tuesday, Feb 2, effectively 4 weeks after the promised delivery date. It took a lot of restraint, and general COVID related boredom, to not CANCEL the order in like kind. I had imagined they come to the door to deliver, as I am hanging up with my cancellation. The product is up and running, and so far, happy with it's performance. We'll see if they improve their customer service -- several friends are still long awaiting their deliveries. Good luck! Sell short at $160. read more

Okay, highly disappointed. Purchased the bike, shoes and accessories online. All was flawless. Drive to Bellevue to buy an extra set of shoes.. Guess what. They dont sell them in the store. You get to pay their ridiculous shipping charge and still get to wait for 7 to 10 days for them. Seriously, why have a store. Horrible policy on the companies part. read more

Stay away from peloton!! You can buy an overpriced stationary bike that's pretty cool... and then, you have to pay $500 per year to see the videos and classes on the bike. They sell cheaper memberships; however, you can't use the bikes display to view the classes. Go get a gym membership for $500 per year and save yourself from these crooks. read more

Hands down the easiest shopping experience. Came early on a Sunday morning and Krissy was super helpful! I had been researching these bikes for a few months as I figured it was time to invest in one and finally made the plunge. I walked into the store to demo the bike and within 15 minutes I was on my way out with a new purchase. I like that you get to clip in and test out the bike and its resistance and really get a feel for the experience. The seat is SO comfortable. So I was instantly sold. The check out process is so quick and efficient as it's done on an iPad and the deliveries include the setup of your bike. Can't wait for it to arrive! read more

I purchased my bike online at the beginning of this year. The bike is awesome, however the monthly subscription can be better. It would be nice to have more 90 minute classes available. Also, would be nice to have a time filter for scenic classes...and longer scenic classes. The Bellevue store definitely needs more training. The staff answered questions wrong about the referral program which unfortunately cost me $100 boutique credit:( They then referred me to the customer service...who also couldn't help. Apparently if you refer someone they HAVE to have the referral code at the time of purchase...or you don't get it. The bike is expensive and I feel the customer service isn't good for such an investment. read more

There's a ton of competition in the fitness world. Not only does Peloton offer superior products with their devices and quality programming, but Corinne at the Bellevue showroom was incredible! At first I was put off at having to schedule an appointment to check out the Treat+. I expected stuffiness and snobbery but was met with nothing but enthusiastic adoration for the Peloton products, brand, and creative solutions on how to get a new Tread+ in my home. Corinne was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and even was aware of my company's updated reimbursement program for fitness equipment which hadn't even gone live yet - incredible! Her enthusiasm for Peloton made me excited to buy, and my boyfriend and I actually had fun in the showroom with her and her colleague. Keep it up, Peloton! read more

Bike is fine until it needs servicing. One month, multiple calls and emails later, no appointment yet and bike is still out of order.

I visited the store ahead of the Peloton Tread re-launch so that I could try out the device. I was planning to order as soon as it went live so I could get the quickest shipping (within 1 week). The associate in the store told me to hold off and schedule a call with him on launch day to place the order over the phone. I asked why would I wait and allow other users to get first in line by purchasing online. He told me ordering with him would put me first in line on the west coast since in-store orders are processed first and receive the quickest shipping time (within 1 week). My shipping estimate is 3-4 weeks and people who ordered online are already receiving their units. I spoke to Peloton support and they told me that the associate did not tell the truth about ordering in-store vs. online. I looked up their business model and in-store associates get paid on commission. Essentially, the associate lied to a customer for their own benefit in a situation where the customer is worse off because of slow shipping times. This review is not about Peloton as a company, but about this store specifically due to their dishonest sales practices. read more

I love the people who work here. I had seen Peloton advertised all over social media, probably because I've taken Soul Cycle and similar classes. When I knew I was going to be near a showroom, I called ahead and arranged a visit. I was able to come in and try out a bike and then bring my husband back for him to check it out. The staff was so friendly, informative and helpful. We ended up purchasing and I cannot say enough good things about owning the bike. I love it. Even now- almost 6 months since we visited the store, the staff will email me letting me know about in store sales and things like that. Despite me being in Dallas, they keep me in the loop. I love my Peloton and the customer service is phenomenal. read more

I ordered and paid for the premium 2-person package with accessories total cost nearly $3,000! I made the purchase on 8/29 and asked for a delivery date on the 9th and was told you don't deliver on Monday. Then selected the 10th and received a few emails confirming. Now four days prior to that delivery I receive a note saying there was a "system issue" and told we moved you to the 19th but are refunding 1/2 the delivery charge? Then I call and have over 30 minutes on hold and dealing with Dillan because I can't take delivery on the 19th and he tells me that somehow just too many deliveries were scheduled on the 10th and mine got moved...sorry. I asked to speak with his supervisor Danielle, she informed me that the earliest they could deliver was the 18th of September. Their business must be booming, customer service should be paramount, and if this is their best...well there are other options. I was then transferred, so that I could cancel my order and get my $3,000 refunded, another hold. Perhaps they will send me one of those annoying surveys soon? read more

All my friends have the Peloton, so I had to come here and check them out for myself. This showroom is great, they have a lot of bikes set up and you can try the out. Sales people are helpful, but they are not high pressure. They all seem like they are actually cyclists, so they have a lot of subject matter expertise. If I end up getting one, will buy from here. read more

Bellevue Peloton is tops! I had been an avid Spin Cyclist at one if Tacoma's best Spin Studios but a new job and schedule wouldn't allow me to continue. I went a year with out exercising and gained weight. Went in to Test Ride a bike and almost started crying... the experience, even though virtual is so lifelike and personal. This is Exercise Equipment, Technology and Social Media at its finest. Im not one to make impulse purchases so I waited 2 weeks. Brendan was so helpful and encouraging. My bike was delivered and set up seamlessly. I LOVE my Peloton and my new 'pelo" friends!! Best health decision I've ever made. 24 rides so far, only regret is I didn't buy it sooner. read more
