Harbor's secret little place for after your parents have gone to sleep at the cottage and you have to get out for cigarettes but you don't want to drive all the way to Petoskey. This is as old-school small-town as old school small town gets. Most people I speak to don't even know this place exists, and it's right in town. They don't have liquor, sadly, which is the only drawback.

Understand we are in a good mood coming to spend our money in your business or place of employment to keep you in business or employed I didn't know it was socially unacceptable to you for me to be happy. This lady never spoke a word as I tried to engage, we sat bottles of liquor on counter in front of her, kept shopping a bit then went to check out and she nastily ,proudly, with a smirk finally open the hole in the middle of her face and said, "This isn't the counter, move your stuff over here". Great communication skills lady..That attitude was predominantly everywhere in Saint Ignace. You'll be a ghost town if you treat your vacationers that way sooner than later. Good customer service next door, mile two down the road will put you out of business don't think your the only liquor store in town. Mackinaw City, Awesome energy!!

We parked in front of their business when we missed the entrance to the business next door and when we were parked there for less than 5 minutes they decided to throw something at our vehicle, and then proceeded to yell at and threaten to call the police on my husband and child while they were sitting in the vehicle waiting on me. They have a cross in the upstairs window but they don't act very Christian to potential future customers. They have signs on the door and I understand they don't want people parking long term at their business when they aren't opened but oh my gosh there is no need to act that inappropriately!

Unless you know, the deli counter is hard to find; it's tucked away in the back of the store. Any kind of meat and cheese you would want are available for fresh-made-as-you-order sandwiches on freshly baked bread. They also have burgers and brauts. There is a side refrigerator filled with premade sandwiches, sliced meats, deviled eggs and pickled bologna if you're in a rush. Employees are super friendly and prices are reasonable.
