This was one of our favorite neighborhood spots last year. We are hoping the quality of the food improves over the next few weeks...new owners. We'll give them another chance soon. Please bring back those wonderful french fries!

This is what you'll see, walking on the boardwalk to Pelican's.

Great place for a cold drink and watching the sunset. You are outside, like a little island bar. Most evenings they have live music. Great atmosphere! ! And that's what your going for. Food is just kinda snack stuff.

gorgeous view !!

I loved the service ! The wings were good, but REALLY spicy! My brother loved the hot dog and my sister liked the shrimp. My mom thought the shrimp had no taste. The drinks are really good. I loved the view. The bay is beautiful during the sunset. Everything is really relaxing. Definitely coming back!!!

The sunset was perfect

Simple but good food and drink, a place to get away from the 'rush' and "Breath" as the sun sets glistening on the water......

Food really wasn't that great. Fine if you're a late check in and need a place to eat. Typical bar food in a very pretty location

I got the harvest salad with chicken and the fruit, candied walnuts, and blue cheese was perfect with the blueberry vinaigrette. I got a mojito mocktail which was a tad sweet but I loved it. The space was decorated in patriotic theme, which was perfect for the 4th weekend. Our waitress was sweet and if we finished our plates someone was always there picking up the dishes. We would come back!!!

The first thing I noticed is that they scaled the menu back which was a blessing. I remember before that you had to read a book to get through the menu before. The new menu has a great variety of items and I didn't miss anything that they might have had before. The restaurant itself is fun. Lots of memorabilia on the walls but not in a claustrophobic way. Tables are nice and clean and the bar is beautiful. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. Our food server was nice, friendly and talked to us like we were regulars (loved that). We started out with drinks and we had the Sangria, and a couple of their signature cocktails that I can't remember the names. All were very refreshing. Food: We started out with quite a few appetizers: Coconut Shrimp: Great big shrimps, coating was perfect but I would use a tad more coconut (IMO). Tuna Dip: Wonderful smokey flavor and tasted really fresh and came with homemade chips. Pimento Dip: Oh my gosh it was delicious. I didn't even want to try this one but one of the people in our party likes pimento, so we did. It was sooooo good. I found out it has 4 different cheeses in it and it also comes with the homemade chips. Onion Rings: These onion rings were in the perfect batter. They were not greasy but they were crunchy and they used great tasting onions. I remember the previous onion rings being so thick and greasy I was so happy with the new version. We also had the Spinach Artichoke Dip and once again it was very tasty. Entrees: Pot Roast: So delicious!!! Tender pot roast and it came on a bed of mashed potatoes and cooked carrots and onions and I think celery. The gravy was delicious and they gave you plenty of it. Steak: It was a pretty big steak and very tender. Hubs gave it a 4 out of a 5. Baked potato was loaded and could have fed a family of 4. Catfish Basket: I had never had catfish before and I nibbled on our friend's entree and it was really really good. I give this place a 5 out of a 5 and we WILL be back.

The concept traces back to 2008, when a group of friends on a boat trip through the Virgin Islands' North Drop fishing grounds came up with the idea over their shared love of big-game fishing and seafood. It's run by president/operating partner Bryan Housley and executive chef/operating partner Gregg McCarthy, with McCarthy's cooking described as award-winning, though I didn't find a specific named industry award attached to either him or the restaurant. It's set right on Grand Lagoon at the Lighthouse Marina, with a main dining room, a shucked-to-order oyster bar, and the North Drop Bar outside overlooking the water. I started with oysters and the she crab soup, then had the BBQ shrimp and the fresh catch, along with the pompano -- all excellent, clearly leaning on what's fresh that day. Finished with the praline dessert, a good way to close out the meal. Great waterfront seafood spot with a solid pedigree behind the kitchen.

We asked for A1, but only one person ended up using it! The horseradish served with the steak was delicious, too. We also tried the jalapeño poppers, Caesar salads, macaroni and cheese, loaded french fries, baked potato, Brussels sprouts, and grits--everything was fantastic. Definitely try the grits! They're like a deep-fried bowl of grits sitting on a bed of smoked Gouda cheese. Honestly, the best grits I've ever had. Highly recommend! The only thing I would say they need to have a different dipping sauce for their jalapeño poppers. They need to have like a jelly or some type of like sweet dip. The ranch didn't cut it.

The hostess was friendly and offered me a table by the musician or at the bar. The ambiance was positive and lively. I was vibing the country music. Service was fantastic and attentive. Since it was a steakhouse, I decided to get the ribeye. It was cooked medium rare, but disappointingly it was served to me lukewarm and disgusting ambient. Sadly I won't return and not recommending.
