So happy this place just opened! It's located right by the Krymska stop (tram 22, bus 135). Their…read moreoverall concept is street food, "Conductor- your street food maestro!" . According to the owner, the name pays homage to a famous Czech conductor who used to live in the building. Pages of his music are on the walls inside the small yet brightly lit space. This is a "take away" place as there is currently not any available seating, although you're more than welcome to eat there and sit on the little bench by the window. Food options are limited: beef stew with homemade bread, bbq pulled pork sandwiches, freshly baked cinnamon rolls, and a daily special. They also serve chai tea lattes, lemonades, and coffee. I've had the pulled pork sandwich and the cinnamon roll. The pulled pork is delicious!! Not the best I've ever had but the best I've had in Europe. Great flavor and all meat, no chunks of fat/gristle. It comes topped with a delicious coleslaw. I only wish there was more meat in the sandwich and would love if they offered a side of baked beans. Overall, I'm very happy to have found real, unpretentious bbq pulled pork in Prague. Yes, there are other American style bbq and burger spots in the city, but they seem to all be sit down restaurants that cost a bit more than a casual meaty sandwich should. Now onto the cinnamon rolls... If you only get one thing this should be it. It is so fluffy and sticky sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon. The cream cheese frosting/glaze is divine. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My only gripe is that they are not open in the mornings. I'd love to pop in for a cinnamon roll before heading off to work. I haven't had anything else yet, but my friend had the daily special (it was some sort of Thai pork belly dish) and he said it was amazing. The owner is really genuinely kind and I hope this place succeeds. He plans to expand food offerings once the place gets going a bit. This place is a great little addition to the neighborhood. **Update** Prices have increased by 10kč Cinnamon rolls are still amazing.

I really enjoyed getting food from The Conductor while I was in Prague. They feature a street food…read morestyle menu with 8 or 9 selections and well as soups and cinnamon rolls. About half of the wrap selections are vegetarian or vegan. I think the menu items change sometimes, but we tried both the Mega Wrap and the Pav Bhaji and loved them. As noted earlier, it's a take-away street food concept, so there are no tables, but there is a small bar you can stand at. I happened to be staying around the corner from The Conductor, but it's definitely worth jumping on the 22 tram for. I liked it so much I grabbed a wrap for my 9 plus hour flight back to America.

Came here for coffee with the bf when we were in Prague a couple of weeks ago. We decided to come…read moreby here as it was only a block away from where we were staying, and it had gotten rave reviews. We also saw that it employed local folks with mental handicaps, so we thought that was a really nice thing for the community. Once inside, we were immediately greeted by the workers. We both decided on different coffee drinks: a flat white for me, and a latte for the bf. I also got a venecek: an iced doughnut that's essentially cut in half and filled with custard. We didn't get to dine in, but the cafe looked super cozy, with the front counter and the back walls being made up of intricately stacked books. It looked like a great place to do work or to study in. Our drinks both tasted pretty good, and sappily enough, they tasted like they were made with love. I'm not sure if the pastries are made in house, but the venecek I had was pretty good, and surprisingly not as sweet as it had looked. I'd certainly love to come back here, if I happened to be in Prague again, and I would recommend it to people who wish the support local community as well.

Nice coffee place with smart decorations (they have books everywhere! I thought it was the coolest…read moreidea!). I appreciated a lot the fact they employ disabled people! Always nice to go somewhere where they support causes like this one! Had their lemonade. It was good! And they do accept credit cards.
