We were the last pick in the litter, which can feel discouraging, but Shelby was very reassuring and confident in her matching process, and she was right because we ended up with the perfect puppy for our home. Our puppy came home at 10 weeks healthy, confident, and well-adjusted, which made the transition very smooth. Shelby was organized, provided all health testing and paperwork, and has continued to be supportive as our puppy grows. We are very grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her! We mourned for a couple of years, but we missed having loving loyal dogs so we found Royal Akitas. Our Akitas are now 2 years old and so we decided this is a good time to do a review for the Breeder Don. We went to his home and he was very welcoming. We sat in his office and he showed us all his dogs on the computer then took us to his dog kingdom. Such beautiful Akitas and all very well taken care of, he explained as we walked around which of the dogs were female and pregnant/ ready to give birth and so on. We stated that we did not want an Alpha, because we are a family and want to share our love with our akita. Don, let us pick which ever dog we wanted, but suggested based on what we wanted which of the litter would be best for us. Well/...it's been two years now and I have to say we LOVE our doggies one is male and one is female and they are so good with people and children not other dogs, but then again we've spent a lot of time socializing them to humans. Such great temperaments on our dogs and so loving even to strangers that walk into our house. I wish we can get another one now from Don Royalty Akitas because I know his breed and I know we will not be disappointed. I am very happy about my boy Kuma ( which I named after his father) " Bear " and my girl Luna after a female Akita Don had who was such a happy and energetic girl and also loved Don so much! Moral of the story is if you want to seriously own an Akita then Royalty Akitas out of California is where you need to take a visit.

Don also never provided us with her registration papers after many requests. Google searches & reviews provide similar stories of other dogs bought from Royalty Akitas. I would not purchase another dog from them.

It's amazing she's 9 weeks old, and has had no problem transitioning to going to the bathroom outside when I take her (was originally litter box trained). She also has slept through both nights without whining or any accidents in her crate. We are having so much fun with her, but are also so impressed with the great breeding and care that Adrienne and her family provided to create such a wonderful dog. Working with Adrienne ahead of time was so easy, as she answered all my questions and kept me updated through the process. Upon getting Zoey, we got to see her play with her siblings, mom, and dad....the whole bichon family. The way Adrienne's kids cared for and said goodbye to the puppy was also testament of the treatment and love the dogs receive in their early stages. We are SO HAPPY we went through Adrienne for our newest family member! Thank you!!
