My wife works very hard here and she loves these folks living here. I think she's been here at this facility around 8 years now probably. As a parent I am just so grateful to have a place have my back like this one does...they are upfront with all that is going on but never push my child and make them feel less than they are or like they don't matter and they help me with tools to take home and use as well. Such as needing assistance with bathing or medications . 24 hour nursing staff available. They have a gym availability with supervision. A nurse practitioner from Pak medical clinic is available 1 time a month. And a local podiatrist also comes to the Blake. Transportation on Tuesday and Thursdays for doctor appointments. Once a week residents can get in the tram to go shopping at either HEB or Walmart. They can also sign up to go to restaurants( of course they pay individually). Occasionally they go for a play or other entertainment. I went with my mom to see an Elvis impersonator, great fun. Another residents could sign up to go to local playhouse, circle Arts entertainment. The front receptionist ladies Courtney and Deb are the best. They're always sweet and welcoming. My mom loves it here. For those whose family members need it there is a memory care.

I see Dr. Kam, (who I found by way of God really) but I've also gotten to know Dr. Wes as well and I must say: I am so fond of these two. Second, I drive in from Austin every week because I know I'm doing something positive for my health, it's worth it, but also because it feels like I'm going to hang out with my friends. They're so welcoming! Third, I've heard horror stories when it comes to chiro's so I had no idea what to expect. This practice does so much more than just the typical popping of the back most of us have stereotyped. I've struggled with health issues ranging from mental health to physical health and everything in between for 10 years, and within 5 months of seeing Dr. Kam I have answers. She's helped me more in this short amount of time than the hundreds of thousands I've paid in medical bills to others doctors.
