Not only did Keeara create aesthetically beautiful signs, she was attentive, professional and patient. I probably drove her crazy with all of the edits that I made but never did she seem annoyed or flustered, she aimed to get it done perfectly and efficiently. Unbelievable. I ordered 100 calendars for my business along with 100 envelopes to mail them to my…read moreclients. I ordered these as part of a time sensitive marketing campaign, so I needed to know where things were in order to plan. After 2 weeks, I hadn't heard anything, so I called to find out about the order status. No one could tell me anything about the order, only that it had been sent to a third party vendor, despite indicating top of the line printing equipment on its site. Called at the end of the week, still no answers. They told me they couldn't get anything since it was the end of the week, so I waited over the weekend and called back Monday. Still no answers. I got fed up and chose to cancel the order. They told me they had to wait until they heard back from the vendor to cancel the order. At that point, I was just done and ordered my calendars with a different company. A few weeks later, two boxes showed up at my house- the calendars and the envelopes. I figured mines press knew the calendars wouldn't be good to anyone else (they were printed with my name and credentials on them) so they just sent them to me. Two weeks later I got a call from the company stating the calendars had been sent by mistake and that they either needed to bill me or get them back. I told them I had intention of paying for the calendars and that I had already hand addressed the envelopes. They were welcome to the shipment but they needed to be aware that the envelopes were no longer good and the calendars have my info on them. The company is paying money to have the items shipped back to them, I kid you not. I asked what they will do with the shipment once they get it back, the plan is to cut my info off the calendar and give it to nursing homes and schools in the area. Again, I kid you not. This is their plan, instead of cutting losses and learning from their root problem- poor communication- they're going to cut up the calendars and give them away. Net loss here- I wasted a total of three weeks waiting for updates on an order when I could have just started with a different company. Also, it is time consuming to address 100 envelopes by hand (I wanted the personal touch). What an absolutely absurd business practice. Never again, Mines Press! I'm absolutely going to steer clear of these guys in the future and recommend you do the same.

The bill arrived mid-December (they're pretty good about getting those out) but by the 10th of January still no envelopes. Despite repeated phone calls and promises that they were on their way, no envelopes. I should have been suspicious when they couldn't provide a UPS tracking number and low and behold by the 10th of January we were informed they hadn't shipped and wouldn't be shipped until the 14th of January. Far too late to be of any use for their intended purpose. Customer service is non-existent. Don't even expect an adjustment, they don't even offer an apology or explanation. All you really get is a pile of attitude. We have been a good customer for many years but I guess that doesn't count for anything, there will be another sucker coming right along when we don't order from Mines press again.

In all seriousness, I have to commend the managers and staff here for being a tremendous help with respect to the "creative" portions of my applications. There sales where the prices of my software and little Canon Selphy printer were competitive with NewEgg*. The custom printing department was also a tremendous help when selecting card stock and helping to field such a one-off request. I couldn't even find a hobby/gaming shop in the city to help me, but these guys did. And when I couldn't find ink cartridges for my Selphy? A sales associate gladly led me to CMYK to my heart's content*. When I was an idiot and bought clear contact paper instead of white? A sales associate made the return process fast and efficient. * Sometimes I pretend that I am 1337.
