Full disclosure. We have not been there for a very long time. The reason for this is twice we took…read morein our laundry to be washed and dried. We brought our own products. Both times the products were spilled, expensive products because someone forgot to put the cap back on. We never should have brought the whole bottle. We left written instructions and also spoke to the person who was going to do our laundry, yet both times the person claiming to be doing our laundry was not the person who did the laundry, promise they would not cook our clothes. It seems to be a habit in most of these places to dry clothes at the highest possible setting versus shrinking everything you own. This happened twice. since we gave money, tip the worker that we thought would be doing our clothes not to shrink our clothes and explicitly ask them not to cook our clothes that is probably why they lie about personally washing and drying your clothes. Or they're afraid of getting caught because they totally didn't listen to what you said and to begin with or they ignored it or I really don't know. We don't know what goes on in other people's heads but we know we're never going to give money upfront again. The tip comes after the meal! For all we know it's changed but something's really don't change. These people are not part of a union most of them are poor women and I'm sure they don't get paid or treated well. That must explain much of their behavior. Doesn't excuse it but does explain it. We've had every from each job in the world too.

The disinterested "It's not my business" manager initially accused me of not paying the machine. When I insisted on getting my drier time she phoned the owner who instructed her to poke my coins out of a machine she obviously knew to be faulty. Afterwards the jaded mangler (sic) wouldn't put up an "Out of order" notice on the faulty drier, as was posted on other machines. No box to put a notice in to get your money back when a machine breaks on you AFTER you paid your $4 to use it. Not even a phone number or email listed to call to report broken machines or get your money back. Place is a constant pig sty--dust everywhere, dirty floors. I have never been there when there were paper towels in the dispenser...NOT ONCE. The same 3-4 machines have been broken for MONTHS. They changed the hours to open at 6 (instead of 5) yet they keep ALL the lights & machines on!‍ So opening later doesn't actually save them any money! Alot of people do laundry BEFORE they go to work and most laundromats are either 24 hours or open at 5. Opening at 6 doesn't give you enough time to wash/dry clothes before work. Lastly people LOITER and hang out in the laundromat without washing anything. I saw a guy sitting inside the laundromat CUTTING HIS FINGERNAILS and letting the nails just fall on the floor. I have had people walk INTO the laundromat and tell me how hard life is and how they need money. I gave the kud $10 so he could get a plate a food--not even a thank you! He had the audacity to say "You don't have $20?". People are TOO comfortable loitering in this place and have no problem bothering paying customers. This place seriously makes Sleepy Hollow look BAD. STAY AWAY.

The business was easy to spot from the street and designated parking is conveniently located in the side of the building. You'll need to bring your own cash as they do not take credit or debit cards here. There is however a little cafe a few seconds away on the corner that has an atm to withdraw cash. The lady at the service desk is super sweet and friendly, and was very helpful. The owners should be very proud of this building- it is spotless, airy and open, and I cant believe how relaxed in felt doing laundry outside of my own home, so that's a compliment! AND the cherry on the icing is the massage chair in the little game room- such a great idea! I will definitely be back!

Definitely byo soap etc; there's a vending machine selling some boxed detergents but not a big selection and it's hard to get the box out (as one reviewer here said). There's an excellent coffee place in the same complex, as well as a cheese store and a pricey but nice organic market. Not sure what the complaining is about. There are signs everywhere saying your laundry is your responsibility, and I found the staff super helpful. They also have a wash-and-fold service which I will definitely try.

I've been washing and drying my oversized down comforter elsewhere and that place wasn't cutting it for me anymore. I have a whole system in place between washing and drying. And compared to that other laundromat I used for my down comforter, Wash & Dry is large, well-lit, has plenty of washers and dryers of all sizes, has several metal tables to fold your laundry, small sink AND it's clean.
