I love the fact that I only pay for the washer and the dryer is at no cost. This place is clean, efficient and the people working there are very helpful. I came to wash / dry a down comforter and I needed a bigger machine that I have at home. Thank you for making my life easier. read more

I have been to a lot of laundromats in my day and this is by far the cleanest one I have ever been too. Lots of washers if all sizes and many dryers. It's still new so none are broken and dirty looking. Sorry to leave my other small cozy one but this one makes doing laundry a little less stressful. read more

I had noticed the somers laundromat when I go to stop & shop and thought I'd give it a try to wash my heavy comforters that don't fit in my washer and dryer instead of going to Mahopac. So glad I did. The store and machines were very clean. The attendant was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again. read more

So i had an experience today at Somers laundromat next to stop and shop. Doing my laundry and had to use the bathroom. Asked for the key but employee said someone was already in. So i waited 10 mins no sounds coming from bathroom so i knocked and no answer , i asked employee to check maybe someone past out she checked someone was inside. Waited a bit more and nocked again no sound. Waited a few more minutes and then owner of establishment came out berating me why so much knocking. It's a bathroom ,don't i know what people do in bathrooms? He spoke in not a nice manner and went on and on in-front of people. I used bathroom and i was very upset. He didn't have to speak to me that way and didn't even bother to apologize how he spoke to a costumer who's been coming for a year and a half. I waited for my laundry to dry . I spoke with employee and stated that i didn't like the way he spoke to me. And that I was no longer going to be a customer. I was very upset because there was no reason for him to talk to me that way. He just simply could've said the bathroom is occupied. I gathered my laundry, and then the owner just stands there doesn't apologize. So I told him I'm not coming back. He didn't have any right to speak to me that way. I had even apologized and told him I thought maybe somebody passed out in the bathroom ,I was simply making sure everybody was OK. He just kept telling me have a good day, ma'am. I was very stern about how I felt. I did not yell I did not raise my voice. I simply told him that "you lost a customer and that was not fair on the way he spoke to me that way this is not how you conduct business, and that he was out of line. He just kept saying to me. Have a good day, ma'am. I cashed out my laundry card and I left. It's too bad because I liked going there. It was close and convenient. But I won't go there again. I do not need to be disrespected and spoken to in front of people like I don't know what a bathroom is for. So I caution anyone using that laundromat or the bathroom for that matter. I have been going here for several years. It's always clean and the attendants are very helpful and they never fail to greet me every time I go I have met the owner several times and he always asks how things are going and if I happy with their service. When I have too much laundry to do at home in my little machine this is my laundromat of choice. Yes the washers are a bit expensive but the dryers are free as long as you wash there. WOW! Super clean and SUPER staff member to help. Went here for the first time last Thursday (9/9/21). I have a washer & Dryer at home but recently a plumbing problem preventing me from using the washing machine for awhile. I recall seeing this place when I went to the super market nearby and was getting desperate for some clean towels and undies, but have always hated using a laundromat since my past (years ago) experience was they are dark and dirty and half the machines are out of order. WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE to walk into this one to find it bright and so clean with many available WORKING machines in different sizes (20lb up to 80lb. I returned again today (9/12) and although it was a bit more crowded, I found an empty machine to use. The lady who works here was very helpful both days as it is different then I am used to. She is a gem! They have a wash, dry and fold service and while I waited I could see the care she took with everyone's order. Although the first cycle in the dryer is free, I decided to go home both days and use my dryer, but I will return anytime I need to - especially to have my quilt washed in their huge 80lb machines. I have already spread the word to friends. This is the best laundromat ever!! read more

I just moved to the area in April. My neighbor suggested it so I decided to give it a try. I was using the drop off service weekly until I finally spoke with the owner. A couple of weeks ago I went to pick up my clothes and the card machine malfunctioned and didn't print a receipt. The owner, who wasn't on site at the time, was contacted so he could instruct his worker how to reprint it. After lots of confusion, he asked me to write my credit card number on the back of my receipt and leave it so that he could charge it when he gets to the laundromat. After I told him that I wasn't doing that and that the money had already been charged to my bank (I showed the employee proof), the owner (who was still on the phone) called me a cheap bitch and told me to get the f*ck out of his laundromat. The owner is the rudest person I've ever encountered. Save yourself the money and the frustration and just go somewhere else. read more

we had a problem with the dryers . the staff tried to fix our problem but could not . we called the manager and tried to explain what happened so he could fix it . instead he was rude . because of his rudeness my son and i quickly got our clothes and left the laundromat , i will never step foot in that Laundromat again . . he told my son and myself that he would return part of the payment that i made to use his dryers since they malfunctioned . He never did make good on his word . since than i have text called him . now he has blocked me . he still owes me money which he acknowledged in his text . he is ruining his business for $20 . this is just a warning to other customers . beware if you have a problem he does not stand behind his word . this is not the kind of business that you need to use since there are so many other choices in the area . read more
